Thank you for posting this. As someone mulling over whether or not to grab a Headrush product, these kind of videos are really hard to come by. This video didn't even pop up in youtube's search results for "headrush prime." I had to cheat and use google and filter video results that way.

I havve a Core but no one has the clear explanation like you on that model. Can you tell me how to make the adjustments where you have knobs to the right of the screan because the CORE does not have them?

Can you explain to me why the delay and reverb in frontnt of amp?
@forthecreator115 күн бұрын
If they are in front of the amp, and the amp is overdriven, the delay and reverb echoes compress and distort. If the delay and reverb are after the amp, the echoes sound a little cleaner and less compressed. Both ways sound good. But (only when the amp is overdriven) they can sound quite different. In Headrush you can test this yourself very easily by dragging the blocks around on the touchscreen.

Hii..what are the purpose of having Vol Pedal A infront and Vol Pedal B after the amp? 😅
@forthecreator122 күн бұрын
Volume in the beginning of the rig adjusts gain (amount of overdrive) which means it intentionally changes tone as you turn it up or down. Volume after amp adjusts loudness without changing the tone. Most people coming from a traditional setup with analog pedalboard going into a tube amp, will be accustomed to volume at the beginning of the chain. I prefer it after the amp (which you can’t easily do in real life)

Lately I have been using the Synth block with Hybrid to get Octaves. Sounds better than the actual Octave pedal blocks

Great video - actually concentrating on creating sounds which could be used in a gig. Really appreciated this as looking to buy a new pedalboard - think the Prime can do what I need, thanks!

Does anyone know how to use a dual Ampero footswitch pedal with the MX5? I saw some videos with the M-Vave Chocolate, but it had an app for programming. However, my footswitch is basic, and I don't know how to configure it with the MX5.

When adjusting delays/bars, etc. within the MX5, I've found it easier to touch the adjustment bar then use the dial to change it. Much easier/faster once you're used to it.

I dig that with the headrush your toes sound distinct from the army of Helix users, no offense to Helix users. You have great, open and chimy tones
@forthecreator13 ай бұрын
I try to come up with tones that “sound like me”, but also work for style of music we play. I come from more of a rock background. I tend to use more drive than other church guitar players I have gigged with

What is the model of the guitar?

Hi Peter, I'm a worship leader for a church in Australia. I've been looking at overhauling my pedal board and purchasing a HR Prime. Came across your channel in the process. Your videos are stellar!! Thank you. I have a couple of questions which I was hoping you might have some experience with; - The HR Prime has a small lithium (watch) battery on the internal board which I cannot find any info on nor what happens when it expires. More importantly how easy is it to replace when the time comes? Have you had any experience with this as yet? I've attempted to contact HR support re same without success. - Do you have any experience re the vocal capabilities/quality of the unit. Vocal demos are notably rare on YT re this feature. Even HR own material rarely demonstrates someone actually singing. It does lead me to feel the vocal side of the board is a bit of an afterthought... Thanks for your time. Have a good day.

i have the original Pedalboard from 2017 and have not needed to change the internal battery in that or my Prime. I have not tried the vocal effects. This is the best demo I have seen of them in use. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5fafKGmmbeljJIsi=8OwL0gOzj_nyK7A3

I bought a midi controller for mx5 and it gives me 4 extra footswitch. I thought the logical way to use it giving 4 different rig for extra fswitches and using scene+pedal on off combinations from mx5. What do you think and how can I use it differently any ideas? Maybe using 7 pedals in preset but i have to add different amps then in one rig maybe.. thank you for contents and videos.
@forthecreator14 ай бұрын
I would probably use the footswitches on the MX5 to change scenes, and the external footswitches to turn individual effects on/off within those scenes
