@@kylemead6257 You can find an NP242 or NP231 Transfer Case from a junkyard. It’s a direct swap and the stock NP249 is trash, All Time 4x4 only.

Thank you brother. The headers are Kooks 1 5/8" long tubes to a 3" Y pipe. I raised the rev limiter with an MSD Digital 6AL Ignition Box.

You can burn rubber with a stock 318 if you have the NP242 or the NP231 transfer case or remove the front driveshaft. I used to spin tires with just intake, exhaust, and a transfer case swap for RWD. Heads and cam is excessive power for something that isn’t that heavy to begin with. I have RHS iron heads and a Hughes Engines cam. There is a huge difference in performance after the heads/cam combo. It adds 50 - 60 HP on these engines but it is twice what the Jeep was before, night and day.

I got this Jeep in September of 2007 with only 80k miles and it was completely stock. 16 years later and it is highly modified, not the original engine, and barely over 100k miles on the body, chassis, front and rear axles, and transmission which needs to be rebuilt.
