Help! I need noise cancellation headphones for Zoom meetings where I have to speak. I don’t want others on the call to hear loud family members. Are you saying that I need the headset mic with the thick earmuffs?

Hi there. In your case, then yes, I would say a headset mic with large ear-muffs to cover your ears will certainly help. Also, with a microphone right in front of your mouth, it will cut down on how much that mic picks up other sounds. Almost nothing can truly get rid of loud sounds in your room (like those loud family members), but you can use a headset mic to get you in a better audio position. The Sades model I own has an in-line microphone mute button on the cable. So, I can keep that button in my hand and click it to mute and unmute myself as needed. It's very handy in that respect so I don't have to use my mouse to mute Zoom....I can just mute my headset mic quickly with the in-line button. You might also turn on the most amount of "noise reduction" in any of your meeting software......for instance I would turn on "zoom optimized audio" and set it to "high," that setting will help get rid of "background speech" so it says. Not all meeting platforms have as many audio settings, but Zoom does a pretty good job. I hope that helps, cheers!

@@MarcusHutsell Awesome! Thank you so much. This was very helpful. I will just got a new job and I want to be prepared. I just found the audio setting in Zoom to change it to high. Thanks again!
