I agree the Jabra video was faster with tracking and had less distortion. It would be interesting to see the Wide view with multiple presenters on both. The mic pickup seemed better on Bose, but maybe felt that the clarity was slightly better on the Jabra, though that also had to come out of my MacBook, so not the best test.

The bose doesn't block the echo. based on the room it seems unpadded so it'll be echoy. The Jabra does some echo cancellation

Great comparison video. Really well done! I definitely preferred the Bose sound quality for both audio and voice pickup. Excellent clarity and more consistent sound pickup across the various room positions you tested. The Jabra camera seemed to pan faster than the Bose, but this feature is not important to me. I choose the BOSE.

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! Are you going to pick up one of the Bose video bars and give it a good try?

@@HeadsetAdvisor Yes, I hope so! I just sent a message to the Bose Professional Division to request information relative to the room I want to outfit. I'll report back if I end up purchasing and after I've tried it.

Hey Headset Advisor Team, i can only speak for the PanaCast 50 but the included Bluetooth is only to pair the PanaCast Remote. I is not made for pairing other audio devices like Headsets or Speakers.

Overall, video performance goes to Jabra, Bose is terrible with that angle distortions. However, in terms of audio, with both speakers and mics performance, Bose is the leader here. In my opinion, the best USB videobar is still the Poly Studio USB, which was released in pre-pandemic 2019.

@@HeadsetAdvisor Thank you! Great content. Videobars are a hot product now. If you are interested, there are new models from ClearOne - Versabar, and Aver - VB130. Please, review them if you have an opportunity.

If you want to try framing that works as well as physical ptz camera tracking, give our Trident a try

You indicated that you'd show a wide angle shot with all three cameras stitching the image together but never did that. Did I misunderstand? I want some shots of the whole meeting, maybe 4-6 people within the 180 degree camera scope. Also thought the sharpness, color and switching speed were better on Pana Cast than Bose. But Bose audio was significantly better tone, it was easier to hear every word on Bose. Much sharper. Finally, do both Bose and Jabra allow separate microphones and speakers? I know Jabra offers them but I'm unclear how to connect, cable, Bluetooth etc. And how many can connect too. Looks like Jabra offers the Pana Cast without that giant speaker, so a more portable solution. Good review, thanks, quite professional. 5*

Funny coming across this, I was just pulling a video together myself comparing vb-1, panacast50, yealink uvc40 and just for fun, a huddly iq. Your showdown is similar to what I found. Bose camera is pretty bad, although my Bose unit seemed much worse. Audio on both is pretty decent, although my panacast sounded a bit more almost phased? Than yours. It could have been trying to actively block out a projector fan which could cause audio distortion. Good shootout, much better than mine 😆 The Bose does have that soundshield (or something like that) to get the audio to drop out after a certain radius, so good in more open spaces.
