I can't hear myself on the mic but people can hear me? Are you supposed to hear yourself talk? It renders me tone deaf. Ugh hope this is fixable.

The budget headsets you mentioned won't have the best noise canceling microphone like you'd want. Consider the Epos Impact 400 series or Yealink UH37. Or consider adding neep.com noise canceling software with any headset you choose.

we failed you :( that being said, we've found glasses to be comfortable as well but it can cause a bit of extra pressure on your ears. At first there can be some discomfort but we found after about a week or two it's fine.

I tested adding additional headsets during and outside of conference calls (you can add up to 3 additional headsets). The feature works well. It would be nice if the feature was compatible with their speakerphones. This would allow the flexible option to quickly add a speakerphone when more than 3 participants join in person!

@@MXfan Jabra Evolve 80 will block out more background noise for sound you hear around you, but the Evolve2 50 has a better microphone. We'd lean more towards Evolve 80 in your case because Zoom has noise suppression you can turn on for the microphone to better block out noise as well.

I work remotely and don’t want others to be able to patch into my line and listen to me talking between calls, so I like to leave my headset muted at all times between calls. Your voice sounds compressed from this microphone, noise cancelling is decent. It's using older technology and doesn't have Super Wideband most probably.

Good point. We found the range to be about the same as the other Bluetooth headsets we've tested. About 50-75 feet depending on your environment.

I do find their product info highly "misleading" in that they imply that the UC dongle is better than regular bluetooth... which I doubt it is other than that you could move it to a better position using a USB extension cable.

Is it only my impression or the sound reproduction of the voice on the MICROPHONES on ALL of this headsets sound NOT clear at all? The voice through the microphones on all those headsets sounds like an old analog telephone in my opinion Might be possible that they have not adjusted the Default Format under the microphone settings for a better sample rate (on premium headsets it is usually from 8,000 Hz and UP TO 48,000 Hz)

Thanks for watching! These types of headsets are best made for work calls. Most people work in an environment where there's some sort of background noise they don't want callers to hear. In order to solve this problem, noise canceling microphone technology is added, which comes at a slight sacrifice of the very best voice quality for the gain of being heard clearly in noisy environments.

That being said, if you use iPhone you can enable voice isolation and if you use this type of headset on a computer, you can add neep.com mic noise canceling software to enhance the microphone and be heard clearly without background noise. I was looking into Jabra Talk 65 because of the 14 hours and from the videos I've seen the mic was decent but its not easily to find here in Mexico. The next comparison to that is the Blue Parrot. This will make things easier...give me a list in order of hook type mono ear piece that you have tried, #1 being the best quality.
