Cons: It falls down from my head when I look down. The ear is not inside the cup so the outside noise is not suppressed. The top hand band is not having plushy material, so head little paining. Lo bass. Very costly. Pros: Best Mic.

Thanks for the review! Would you recommend purchasing the extended warranty for Starlink mini?
@HeadsetAdvisor
@HeadsetAdvisor 13 сағат бұрын
I don’t typically buy extended warranties specifically. However that being said I did drop mine from the top of my truck bed down to the asphalt which ended up being perfectly fine just a few scratches on surface so… it’s probably worth the extra protection if you’re nervous about it.

Hi David, I recently purchased a Jabra Evolve2 65. In Windows, I noticed that even when the headphones are turned off, the default audio device continues to be the connected Jabra Link 380, so if I want to play youtube or any kind of music, it doesn't come out anywhere. Only way is to manually switch to the computer audio, or unplug the Jabra link 380. On the other hand, if I connect the headset via bluetooth instead of the Jabra Link 380 it ends up being easier, because when Windows recognizes the headset is turned off, it switches the audio to the computer hardware automatically. Any way to sort this out?

Today's cloud-based noise cancellation mechanisms are so efficient that built-in technologies are unnecessary. What's more: they are counterproductive and must be able to be switched off for the best audio quality. Please try this out in the future too ;). As a reference for good audio quality in this regard, I suggest testing with Webex. Barking dogs, baby cries, traffic noise and loud craft noises in the house are very effectively suppressed. ...this is also built in in modern Cisco phones - no matter what headset is connected...

Drew putting the headset as far as possible from his haircut to not mess with it hahaha :D the Epos is doing a reallt good job in the open office. Dont know if it is just me but the 5000 series even if it is older sounds better with the ultra wide.

@MrRobfriv 2 күн бұрын
I made this comment on another video, it would be really great if you tested each one of these with someone talking behind you. Question is, will the EPOS and Jabra pick up a voice even if it isn't yours? I purchased the Jabra Evolve2 65 and are pretty much expensive regular headsets because it picks up my wife's voice in the background and prioritizes her voice over mine since we work in the same space. Now I'm looking to sell my Jabra's and am on the hunt for something better.
@HeadsetAdvisor
@HeadsetAdvisor 2 күн бұрын
@@MrRobfriv thanks for your feedback. The Evolve2 65 is a good overall headset but doesn’t have the best noise canceling mic you can get. Blocking out other voices is the biggest challenge for any noise canceling mic. That being said, you could consider using your existing Jabra headset and adding neep.com noise canceling software, or the Epos Impact 800 or Epos Impact 1000 are the best we’ve tested.

@HeadsetAdvisor

@@arturo5050 the dongle is only when connecting to your computer. Bluetooth to the computer for any headset causes degraded audio, not as reliable of a connection, less wireless range and no advanced capabilities. So, it’s highly recommended to use the USB dongle for connection with your computer.

That simply not correct! I have one with a dongle, and it works terrible with the dongle, connected to both Win and Mac. The direct connection to Mac mini works better, but still not perfect. It's just an unstable product. Also, people complaining not hearing me properly, if use this device. Even if it's connected directly to my iPhone. Looks like Plantronics became a junk company once obtained by HP.

Thanks! I've been waiting for this comparison between these 2 earpieces. Although the technology and features of the Yealink BH71 are nicer and newer, strictly listening to the performance of the microphones with the different background noises, I thought the Poly Voyager 5200 sounded clearer and louder. I own the Yealink BH71 and am happy with it but it took a long time to choose between that and the Poly Voyager 5200. I had purchased my BH71 from Headset Advisor when it first came out and now see the prices have dropped since then so it looks like a good time to buy for people who are still looking.
