Just got one of these to replace a broken Poly unit.....pleased to discover as we use Teams only for meetings AND phone calls, the USB-C plugged into my HP dock supplies voice and power! No need for a separate power supply!!

Yep! It's a great feature Yealink added that the other comparables don't offer.

We use Zoom mostly for meetings. Occasionally, we use teams to receive training from a vendor so I will probably go with the UC. This is an amazing all-in-one headset for those of us working in a cubicle setting taking calls all day!

Awesome review - still cannot believe that 2-3 years old WH 66/67 still the king for Audio and microphone quality. The WH64 is really cheaper than the latter and I can see these being deloyed on a larger scale. The fact you can dongle it with a DECT adapter like the WH67 is a really nice addition too

If you are on a PC call using DECT and a call comes in on your mobile phone , does it interrupt the PC call or do you have to toggle to Bluetooth to pick up mobile calls?
@BG-wl7yn15 күн бұрын
I got Sennheiser EPOS with DECT, and it's got BT on the base. It's annoying because if I'm on a call on my mobile phone and walking around the house, I need to leave the phone on my desk. I assume this resolves that
@HeadsetAdvisor15 күн бұрын
Exactly. The Bluetooth is built into the headset of the WH64, not the charging base. headsetadvisor.com/products/yealink-wh64-dual-mode-wireless-headset?_pos=1&_psq=wh64&_ss=e&_v=1.0

With how many bluetooth devices can the wh64 be connected at the same time, while also being connected to the dect receiver? Couldnt find this information anywhere else.
@HeadsetAdvisor16 күн бұрын
I wouldn’t recommend more than one but I’m fairly certain you could pair 2 devices but I haven’t tested that for sure yet. Dect to the charging base which connects to deskphone/computer Bluetooth to smartphone or other Bluetooth devices.

Can you please explain how or will this work with citrix thin client using Five9 cloud based phone system? Thank you.

You'd connect the Yealink charging base to the USB port of your thin client. From there you'd use your phone system on the computer like your normally would.

@HeadsetAdvisor I have a Jabra engage 75, which my PC recognizes, but there's no sound when connecting. I wanted to see if Yealink would also be an issue, but it's working just fine, so thank you very much for responding 😊

The mic sounds like an old fashion analogue phone, is that due to DECT limitations? Does it sound better on Bluetooth?
@HeadsetAdvisor2 ай бұрын
The WH64 and similar headsets prioritize microphone noise cancellation, so you're heard clearly in noisy environments but does come at a slight sacrifice of the best pure voice quality you can get. Whether you use the WH64 in DECT or Bluetooth mode, the mic quality will be the same.
