New projects homemade lathes bed (second lathe)
Hello KZbinr, today I’m glad to share my new second homemade lathes.
I do happy to make a bigger size because my first lathe the size is a bit small, when milling a big plate of thick metal is not easy because the length is not enough space to milling than the plate metal I used is thin most are 10 mm thick.
So I decided to make a new lathe bigger than the previous lathe. Now there is enough experience to make a new lathe also.

Doing good. Do you think it might be a good idea to drill the piece you’re thinking about cutting off before you remove it. Then you could bolt it back on if you need to replace belts. Just a thought. Keep up the good work. 👍

Thanks. I do not know how much because I made it a year go but knew A lot of money. And l in the third world everything I did mostly from my brain. Now this weight is 340kg
