First of all nice name my name is also Nate. I was struggling too. The biggest advice i can give is really really focus on putting renewing mist on players asap. Keep those charges at an all time 0. Make sure RIsing sun Kick is also on cd constantly. If you need more healing use Vivify . The first time you cast it because of some passive (not on game to check) makes it an instant cast. This will help in burst healing situations. IF you need more healing start channeling smoothing mist and keep enveloping (idk) on the target and spam vivify til you are good to go.

I love mistweaver and everything about it. But it's so hard. I struggle alot with Keeping up with renew, rising sun kick and is resets, doing mechanics, and fixing People's mistakes when they step into things. That all in combo with bursting/Grievous. It feels impossible tot heal all that and pay attention you don't step into things also.

I think a lot of people are struggling with old healing habits from shadowlands. MW is a lot different now and will punish you big time if you make a couple mistakes. like you said keeping hots up its huge and you can fall behind if you don't. I recommend to anyone having issues look into some weak auras that track your ReMs and RSK as you will almost always want these on cooldown and will help from falling behind. WAs helped me a lot. we are a HoT class now more than ever lol gotta keep them rolling as much as possible our whole build revolves and synergies around it.

@@MegaBollard sounds like it was a bad group, tree boss is alot of avoidable damage and should be easy to burst down with lust Not to mention with ancient teachings, you can heal everybody with just spinning crane kick when the adds spawn

@@MegaBollard tree boss is more about the adds being burst down at the right time, not a healer check. yeah, everyone dies to the damage, but they have to do the mechanics right to cut down on the damage, otherwise its a wipe. I ran a +7 SMBG with just blue gear on my MW, and it was fine, just keep focused

Awesome! I'll start using it. My Vuhdo stopped working for some weird reason. My Cocoon and Soothing Mist are only self target now. I click on a party member and the spell gets cast on myself T_T (and only those two spells) Gotta switch to regular UI with mouseover now...

Try making sure that the auto self-cast is turned off in your WoW settings and also that the self-cast keybind isn't double bound into one of your mouseovers

hey Megasett, I appreciate this useful guide :) Im surprised you value essence font so low however, i have found that with high mastery, essence font can almost top up a group by itself. Do you consider it a red herring because that time spent channeling could instead be used to get a few GCDs of damage in, or am I missing something here?

big thing with EF is the mana cost. with faeline, you don't benefit nearly as much from the doub mastery, other than pre-chi ji which she did mention is a build-into before using the cd. if there's some anti-melee mechanic that makes it hard to utilize the bird, I could see mana tea - EF triage healing as an option, but not as efficient/reliable as if you can get into melee with this build

Impressed you healed this first fight without just deactivating the first boss. We always take it to 10 and fight the other boss so the healer doesn't need to heal. Doing 70-80k HPS proves just how much you have to heal if you don't do that.

For M+ I usually use Glacial Fury for damage or Elemental Chaos for harder dungeons. Tepid Versaility is also a solid option

I had a really rough experience in a 13 temple today on my holy paladin. Most dungeons are pretty easy with beacon of virtue aside for some pulls where there is sustained, heavy group-wide damage...but man, this dungeon felt rough today. Felt like there wasn't enough interrupts and things weren't dying as fast. Making me kinda want to roll to a different healer, hence me being here hah.

So many content creators place holy pal as god tier for dungeons though. They normally place Mistweaver on B tier. I eventually stopped paying attention to that and just played what I wanted. What did you end up doing?

@JGC I went holy pally. Got him to 2k rating and shelved him. I found him good in dungeons. I can easily see how resto could be better, but it was fun and he was capable. Healing is a group effort. Sometimes it might look like you're having a hard time healing, because you are, but that can be in large part because no one is stunning/kicking priority targets or using defensives on predictable boss damage. Just a shame it gets put onto the healer when other people fail their parts. Even with an interrupt, sometimes finding time/space to interupt can be tricky with a melee healer depending on the affix.

Any tips for first boss in Ruby Life Pools? Hailstorm does tons of aoe dmg and when welps are out it does tons of AoE dmg too :S It feels someones gonna die in every hailstorm everytime I save Chi-ji for whelps but hailstorms are uff

I played mistweavert and the second boss on Nokund offensive it is crazy mistweaver has a very huge problem with mana and how to heal the hole party in a fastest way I have to rely on Smoothing mist in order to acomplished it is not the ideal but is what it works in that fight.

How does sanctify look like those easily visible golden swirls for you? Whenever it goes out in my game, they're like tiny, sparkling golden stars that are much harder to see, thin and going in and out of visible sight like they're "twinkling" stars. They'd be much easier to dodge if they looked like the ones from your clip

Just test, and dont forget about talent Clouded Focus and Peaceful Mending when you be testing. When i test, i dont use these talents

Tier will come from the Creation Catalyst if you're m+ only. I think we're 5 weeks out from that and then you get 1 a week from that so you can get 4pc a month after CC becomes available, tier can also come from Vault

the damage from that boss is all mechanics, not healer throughput. the AOE from the branch gets removed if everyone stands in the green burst when it dies, and the adds need to die or they will stack poison that kills everyone. otherwise it's just keeping the tank up through his bark buster move

There’s no ranged healing version. MW are categorized as melee even if you’re playing a caster heavy build, you’re still melee. But those builds will have very little damage, your mana/sustain will be significantly worse, and a majority of your utility still requires melee. Overall it just doesn’t compete

What tank would you say best runs with mistweaver? I ran a 2 with a paladin yesterday who focused more on using word of glory to heal himself over letting me heal him and using that holy power on defensives. He kept overpulling and the aoe from halls of valor proved too much when everyone started dying because my hots wasnt enough. I was 345 ilvl. I had no issues healing a +2 court of stars at 320, so Im confused whether or not its me or just not playing with more synergized classes

MW does fine with any tank though I prefer bdk/prot warr, Prot Pal generally do a lot of self healing similar to BDK because of free WOG procs etc but if he had low uptime on SotR then that's a misplay on his part. Dungeon tuning is a bit out of whack atm and they vary heavily in difficulty. Most likely a combination of low gear + not being used to how differently the dungeons are tuned
