I am in love with how spiritually aware i am now with everything in my life. I once hated winter, would get super depressed. Now that my relationship with YAH has grown so strong, I now love winter and all it's beauty and it's made me more alert on just how wonderful spring is. My biggest downfall is burning eyes. Not sure exactly why I suffer from this, probably has something to do with the manipulation of our environment. 😮 But it brings me down and steals my joy and energy. I just need to start saying boldly, i refuse to let this problem steal my energy. 2 yrs ago we sold our very large 5 bedroom home in town and moved out into the country. Our area is a valley with small towns through it, and beautiful country side and beautiful mountains. Near the PA Grand Canyon. We gave away SOOOO MUCH because we were moving a family of 5 to a small 2 bedroom cabin. It's literally a little house on the prairie. It felt so good to let go of all that materialistic stuff and move just what we needed. I downsized the kid's toys to just a little bit and they didn't even care. I still struggle mentally because we just don't have the space to properly store the things we must have, but we're getting there, Slowly.. VERY VERY SLOWLY remodeling the attic space to make bedrooms for our 3 kid's. I just have to constantly remind myself that YAHUAH blessed us with this land, this home and we are still debt free, and to just keep pushing those bad thoughts away. This place will eventually be our perfect little house. You keep praying for that dream home with land, it may not be esthetically perfect, but YAH willing, it will be perfect for y'all. Your prayers will be answered. ❤❤❤ Oh. I also dislike unnatural lighting. I prefer sunlight or candles. We have a lot of windows, we just need to repaint all the rooms from dark to light colors. 😂😂😂

You may want to consider allergies being the cause of your burning eyes. Even if you've never had allergies before your change in environment among other things can trigger them. I've lived all over the country and in Germany and never suffered allergies until I moved to my current location. I've been here 13 years now and still have to take Claritin daily or I want to scratch my eyes out. I hate taking it but it's better than suffering due to my stubbornness.

@@dawnc5797 I know it's allergies, but I'm afraid the seeding of our skies is what's making my eyes burn like this. I refuse to take any over the counter drugs or pharmaceuticals because they tear up my gut and make me feel worse. There are some vitamins and minerals I take that I find help. Plus eating a lot of honey and soon I'll be eating a lot of pollen because haying season is beginning. Clearer day's, my eyes don't burn at all, but when they cloud seed, they get pretty bad. I live in the same place my whole life. My eyes didn't affect me like this when i was younger, I just got watery eyes, the itching and sneazy kind of allergies. I'll still bury my nose in a lilac bush and flowers though. Hahahahahaha😂🤣😂🤣

I know what you mean re: decluttering.. it's like this huge exhale of relief. I have donated bags and bags to thrift stores and sent to Mexico or given people in need. It's insane the amount of stuff I had that I rarely or never wore/ used. Now I'm the polar opposite.. I declutter about once a month and then I regret because I gave up something I liked.. so.. I need to find a good balance. Rainy days are wonderful.. I live in the Arizona desert 🏜️ so they are few and far between.

Five years is a long time to look for a forever home and a bigger place, but then again the market has been so horrible with how things have gone up in price. I am sure when you do find that place, you will have a wonderful home, just as this one has been for you. The really dark morning with the downpour and thunderstorm was so beautiful to see and it was short-lived where I am in NJ. I was cleaning my parents' house for them and was just watching it from their picture window in awe. You know, we don't talk about cluttered minds enough and how so many people are just shoving entertainment down their throats and letting it be too much a part of them. It is something to think about. I know so many times women will mention something to me and I look at them and go, "What's that?" Then they proceed to tell me something I had no clue about that is "new" because it is not my focus, but I enjoy seeing how they enjoy things, though sometimes I wonder why they enjoy some of the things they do. I don't think I am very "normal" and I am okay with that. I am sure having all the clothes you had to have to part with was a lot to do. What an industry to be in for so long too. I know you have shared it before, but I am glad you got out of that and feel happy with where you are through changing that portion of your life. I am sure you were a good role model through your wardrobe usage anyway though.

I especially love this video because I can’t so relate to the “cluttering thing.” I’ve been a mixed-media artist my whole life (a young looking 74 year old woman) and I collect everything! Working in pressure turns me sometimes into survival mode. Spring has always been my favorite time of the year. Last years I noticed in summer that I spring passed almost without noticing... I was unable to enjoy spring time, just work.. This spring was better since I decided to work 80%. We have to set boundaries, nobody else is doing it for us! We can give 100% of our energy for work and it will never be enough. I feel so much better now and have more time and energy to enjoying life as a wife and mother. You spoke to a quest I'm about to embark on within a week. We built a smaller house 10 years ago in order to have more land and less house. Got rid of SO much but little by little I've allowed too much in the way of clothing to creep back in, so I've enlisted the assistance of a young friend to help me create a much smaller capsule wardrobe. Such an important message! ❤ Thank you for sharing your journey with us! I feel the same way about the artificial light in a home! The overhead lights are stress inducing. People, including family, ask me the same question, “why is it so dark in here?”. And we have some large windows in our small house. But in the morning as the sun comes up, I prefer to leave the lights off. In the evening as the sun goes down, I prefer to leave them off. And after sundown I prefer to turn on a few lamps, but no overhead lights. My sentiments are not the same as others in my family, so I don’t always keep it the way that I prefer, but I notice that on the days/nights that it is as I set it, everyone is calmer and seem to be more at peace. ❤ Not to mention, the camera won’t pick up all of the light in a room, so those people who comment on your lighting probably don’t realize that in reality you have more light than it appears. Personally, I know that the lighting in your videos is one of the reasons that your videos are so peaceful and calming! ❤ I love your macrame vest by the way! It is beautiful on you!

I love a big amount of natural light also... been in a downstairs apartment, for a year now,,back patio facing a lovely natural courtyard,, large pines, grass, tulips planted by neighbors, now Iris, faces street so I see people walking by.. east and west beautiful sunshine and natural light..this even feels good to write about...past apt upstairs and dark although cute... but downstairs feels like home. One advantage to your low light interiors is that it will stay cooler in the summer, no need to run the A/C too much and the shade from the trees is very calming -- not like the glaring light of the desert or Greek towns that are all white buildings and rock. You have the ideal location!

Lea, your sweet humilty in turn humbles me. I too tend to put the blame on circumstances rather than admitting that I've not been accountable or obedient to God. I'm still learning. Our house foreclosure is in 9 days, and even though I get anxious about living in our vehicles or a tent, I'm so thankful for moments of God's peace. A few weeks ago, out of stress and pain, I did turn my eyes from the Lord and sinned. But by being accountable and being thankful, there is freedom in Christ. Today is my 31st birthday and though I don't know the future, may God help me and my family to lean on Him! I've been watching your videos for years and it's been such a testimony to see your health and peace restored. May you continue to be blessed!

My goal at the moment is decluttering my entire house and praying for Yah to provide a side hustle or cash job for me and hubby to supplement our income, the house rates everywhere are going up and I know everyone is really feeling the pinch and having to really budget. We too just got rid of over 12 big garbage of clothes and clutter. What an amazing feeling to get rid of it. I have so much more to do! Dear Sister you always come through with answers to prayers or questions I have to our ABBA! I currently am procrastinating to declutter my life. I work in greenhouse work and have over 200 houseplants alone. I want my life free to devote all this time I waste organizing and spending energy in material nonsense. I'm so frustrated. Why and how does this happen. I have enough to craft , make jewelry, plant , sew, clothing..just material time wasting distracting STUFF! So as always your video pops up right in time of my break down..lol! I've been watching you for a few years now and can relate to so many stages we have walked through growing as a daughter of the KING! I have a few shirts of "The King is Coming" and wear them more then anything i own..lol! I would love to get some more perspective on a few battles I'm currently facing if there is any way to speak or email you?? Thank you so much for your inspiring and encouraging videos. I think when we do that, we are trying to fix something internally, not realizing we are actually making it worse. It helps in the moment but then we are simply less content in the long term.
