I'm recently widowed and the pit started right after the funeral. I was now all alone. I could barely sleep and.I was depressed and crying a lot. I just finally kept talking to Jesus and He started to finally pull me out. It's still tough at times but I just keep talking to God and got out more and be around people and talk about it. Jesus has really taken care of me and given me His love and is slowly removing the pit. Thank you Jesus! ❤

Bless you! My daughter lost her husband. The children had a difficult time too. She saw a therapist. She still hurts with the loss of her husband of almost 11 years but she is taking the kids and putting them into all kinds of sports and keeping them busy. She's staying busy with them. And she has a little business on the side that she does as well. Every once in a while she'll still post about the pain and it's been. It's just been over four years now and my heart breaks for her but she is very strong and if she wasn't , I don't think she would have gotten as far as she has. It's hard to say how long her heart will ache. They were so much in love.

My awesome husband succumbed to cancer 3-13-2024! I’m so thankful he was born again for the know the scripture…absent for the body is to be present with the Lord! I was with him every step, I have no regrets, I loved him with my all n all, taking care of him was everything! I loved him! Grief, is one of the toughest thing I’ve every had to go through, it’s tough! I’m looking forward to my joy being restored! I cry daily for the last 7 months! Missing him has aged me from the crying! I continue praying & seeking Jesus! He’s truly a present help in a time of need! I love the Lord! I know I will be alright! Blessed be the name of the Lord!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

In my childhood, there was a lot of trauma my parents were addicts. My mother was in love with alcohol. There was a lot of emotional mental, sexual physical and financial abuse. I was thrown in the pit by my older siblings. I thank and praise God for having his hand on me. At the age of nine years old, I had an experience with holy spirit when I got baptized from a church my parents allowed me to go, but never attended. Glory. To God it was an amazing Holy Spirit experience. Although I had no guidance in the relationship with God the seed had been planted. I was emancipated at age 15 and the story goes on.. but today I serve God and have a not for profit ministry to help others heal ❤

Wish there a switch to get out of this pity pit… days like today I just want to give up on life completely… I get so tired of trying but unfortunately have to keep trying and fortunately have the option to do so. After so many traumas it’s hard to just be ok and shine brightly when intrusive thoughts keep getting in… having PTSD doesn’t help… so sorry to my Lord because he deserves all the brightness not gloomy despair. 40 yrs is discouraging in a way yet gives clarity that it’s a lifetime battle where victory can reign in the end!
