Insulin also plays a role in weight gain. Genetically you can be more or less insulin resistant. They brought up how she has problem with her insulin... Thats why they gave an example of how some 11 year olds eat everything she eats and dont gain any weight at all but her case is different so she has to be especially strict with her diet... Not all weight gain comes from food alone....theres many other factors..

please she is eat more low nutrient foods and like all addicts she also lie about her habits. that is a fact. it is also true that some people can eat junk food and not get so big but normally they are eating less and moving more. when you compare food choices over all, obese people always increase the calorie intake by drinking more soda putting more sauces and other high caloric food types like fried food vs steamed food. you don't need to lie because it is you life and your choices, in the end you just lie to yourself. and like all junkies you can only change if you really decide to make a difference in your choices. if something is bad you need to recognize it is bad and stop doing it for yourself not what other people think of you.

Kari Walls intermittent fasting works on the notion you still get all or close to your daily calories. Often overlooked is people gaining weight because they aren’t eating enough. When your body goes into starvation it begins to store fat for later. You know you’re not starving but since your nutrition quotas aren’t met you are “starving” then more excess fat builds up. There are lots of ways to become fat. And many factors.

My name is Miranda too. I suffered from depression and anxiety from a young age which led to always turning to food for comfort. Even though I wasn't fat in school, I wasn't stick-thin like the other girls so I was still labled fat which didn't help. I would most likely be in the same position Miranda here is if my mom didn't care what I ate. However, my mother was strict with food and didn't even keep junk food in the house (there was even some years that she locked up the food with a padlock lol) and I thank her for it. If it wasn't for that I would've probably been on my 600lb life. However when I moved away and started earning my own money, I made dumb choices and I gained a lot of weight. Fortunately, my body was very forgiving anyway because even at my heaviest (263lbs) my doctor says my blood-levels were basically perfect. But I bet if I kept going, it would've gotten worse. I know that I was so miserable though. Anything easy like tying my shoes took a stupid amount of effort and I hated it. I still don't know how people can live like that. I started going to the gym and eating healthy, I'm now 194lbs and feel 10x better already. I still have a long way to go but I'm never going back, I learned my lesson. If I can do it, anyone can do it!

the side effect of being underweight can be similar to those of being underweight. if you don't eat much you do not get enough vitamins even if the food is healthy, just because it's not enough. also if she's taller than 4"7 or something like that, that is dangerously underweight, which has nothing to do with fast metabolism btw. it's a sign she's not eating enough.

So how do anorexics who don't exercise lose weight? How do chronic starving people lose weight? You can plataeu/maintain yes, that's temporary but unless you're eating MORE calories than you use and need, you won't gain weight. That goes against the laws of thermodynamics.

You’re obese. You need to lose weight, just because you ‘carry it differently’ doesn’t mean that you’re healthy. Can you run up a flight of stairs without panting for more than 15 seconds? I’m not lecturing you, I’m the same height but I weigh 210 and I’m trying to lose weight
@rebecabonilla82887 жыл бұрын
I used to weigh 230lbs that was me at 5' 2 and fourteen years old. By the time I turned 17 I lost 100lbs. I'm now 21 years old and I weigh 130lbs and I'm super athletic, I hit the gym five days a week and eat healthy nutritious foods. I go to a little Ivy college in PA and my life is pretty good

Coming from someone that was raised on very poor meals from a mother that was going through a lot of psychological problems. Growing up obese is a living hell. Your comfort is food and it becomes an addiction as it's the only thing that brings happiness. I'm pregnant with my first child now who has given me the strength to cut out junk food and focus on my health. I will never neglect my child by over feeding them like this woman has. It's just plain lazy and selfish

Yes, she needs medical intervention , but she’s pretty too and shouldn’t be bullied. Bec bullying causes psychological damage and makes everything worse.❤️ I love those drs tho how they’re sweet yet straightforward and honest.

I am the same. Have been all my life. I eat non stop and am a twig. My buddies get mad because they try to lose weight and they have to watch me eat all day and still lose it. Probably all the sports I played when I was a kid. I hear it can boost metabolism. Whether true or not, I have no idea. But it makes sense. I played so many sports I could only play half games before going to a different sports game. lol Even now at 31 I am still a twig and can eat anything.

People are embarrassed to admit what they do/don't eat. They can't be honest with themselves but the scary part is that this is a child we're talking about. As an adult, you're free to do whatever you wanna do. But you're teaching your child these habits and being dishonest about the state of the wealth is the scariest part. I understands it's hard to have a child. I know how debilitating and consuming depression can be but this is the life of your child. You gotta take yourself and your child's health into your own hands. It's hard but you gotta try and change and work on it.

I struggle with bulima, I work out about three times a week, I rarely snack, I don't eat breakfast, and I never eat fast food. I'm honestly confused why I can't seem to get rid of the weight. And I need to lose it in order to have a surgery on my chest this summer.

Everyone is blaming the mom but let me tell you, I was over weight at 11 years old and alot of it was my own doing. I would sneak food, eat when I was bored, and didnt drink enough water. No matter how much my mom enforced that i needed to cut back on eating and drink more water, I ignored her. Theres only so much your mom can do. She isnt with you every second of everyday so cant watch or control everything you eat. It's a two way street between mother and child and you have to do your part for it to work.

It's very simple. She could be eating normal food, but way overeating. Even healthy food becomes unhealthy when you eat too much of it. There's nothing wrong with a frozen pizza for kids once or twice a week, but not if she's sitting down and eating the entire pizza.
