Health is rarely a linear journey, there’s always a side quest.
And unless you have a ‘health first’ approach to what you choose to give your energy to, you’ll either spend shorter or longer healing.
Current unexpected side quests have included bronchitis (inflammation of the airways) & digestive issues (Ive taken more antibiotics, steroids, antivirals & pain meds in the last 3 weeks than 20 years)
My focus has been keeping my nervous system very very down regulated so my body isn’t distracted & can heal & deal with the herpes zoster virus that is at the route of it all.
Bells Palsey is a symptom, it’s not the root problem & hasn’t been my greatest concern, more just a really curious add on.
It’s been fascinating noticing the tiniest changes each day. Literally a blink of an eye
To explore training my face & how that feels.
To see what I’d look like if I had Botox.
To realise that after 3 weeks those muscles are really weak.
To notice how much strength & activation is necessary to simply support my face.
To have face ache!
It’s incredible!
Heal the virus heal the face.
There’s a hierarchy to our health & understanding that is a game changer.
You can’t heal if your system is all jacked up, your circadian rhythm is off, your mind is angry, your nutrition is shit, you don’t move, you’re overbreathing, not grounded & you don’t have grace & gratitude 🤗
Recovery & health is an activity & everyday practice no matter how small your actions
And feels really good!💕❤️💕

I’m really proud of me & talk about a ridiculous way to stress test your beliefs 😂 & id also never wish this on anyone.
I’ve never experienced pain like it nor been so sick for so long.
Week 3 of my Shingles in the ear recovery, Bells Palsey & this weeks side quest Bronchitis.
Fatigue is a big issue, napping x2/day & sleeping at night.
