Health issues in the Lagotto Romagnolo

We are glad that the Italian native veterinarian Dr. Leontine Benedicenti donated her time to explain the most important health issues in the breed and the importance of health testing.
Dr. Benedicenti works in the United States as Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
The Lagotto Romagnolo Foundation is proud to present it’s first video in Italian language. This is an homage to the home country of our beloved breed but also a tribute to all Italian breeders who set the foundation for all Lagotti worldwide. Dear Italian breeders, please keep in mind how important your effort is to make smart breeding decisions in order to keep the breed healthy worldwide!

Io ho un mix lagotto eppure a 5 anni le è venuta l’epilessia . Adesso sono già tre anni che è sotto cura ma non guarirà mai :(

io volevo un mix non di allevamento ma di canile o rifugio (non accoppio, sterilizzo sempre e comunque e l'amore non si compra coi soldi)...pero' questo video è terroristico. Ho sempre avuto cani...a volte va bene, a volte no...ma non credo sia tutto cosi' catastrofico come dice la sedicente dottoressa.
