It seems I am binge watching your channel today. My back has given its all for lifting today, and I am listening to it. Might as well comment when I have a thought. I am going to try to remember to go back and find the video where you made that fence. I've never made anything like that before, but if it looks doable, I might give it a try. I have a place in my yard where I had a huge holly cut out because it was all dead inside, but it was hiding the place I store my garbage bins and I really like the design. It would be fun to decide on a plant to grow on it. I think if I could manage to get the posts in, I could do it.

Originally it was " Turn up for the book " and comes from horseracing where the book was the record of bets laid on a race kept by a bookmaker. So when a horse performed in a way that nobody expected, so that most bets lost, it was something that benefited the book and so the bookmaker.

We eat butter with our meals for added fat, as most of the fat is cut off steaks these days. Shoulder/chuck steak is normally a high fat steak, but a bit tough, slow cooked makes it really tender or great put through a hand mincer for burgers. Lard and dripping only for cooking, not seed oils. A charcoal BBQ is a great investment for this diet, the food tastes better and saves any mess indoors. Since 2020 we started to question everything and cancelled our dentist and doctor, not been to either since ;-)

Marc, drop the milk and put in cream. In Spain here, it's impossible to get double cream, so i just put in the Spanish stuff. It's still better than milk for ketovore, mainly meat, cheese, eggs, and a bit of veg or salad diet. It really gets better. You will find more energy and aches, and pains eventually go. Look at No Carb Life, really good testimonials. Great vlog as ever.

As you have rosemary in your garden make an infusion( tisane) to take in the evening! It should help your circulation problem(pins and needles) I do not think your (atkins diet) is good for your intestins and general health but of course you will loose weight for the moment! Better think long term health! Good luck anyway! At least you excercise!!

One of my daughters had stomach issues and,like you, she started to experiment with her diet….she went gluten free and it helped enormously but not completely,so she went lactose free too and problems solved! She has been able to source all sorts including cheese,yogurts,cereals,pasta,pizza bases,even chocolate. She eventually talked to her doctor about it and apparently gluten and lactose intolerance are quite common….she’s a new woman!

Everything is looking good! One thing you might consider is whether it's the pasteurisation that's giving you problems with dairy. It's not common, but does happen for some people. They have practically an allergy to milk until they have something that's unpasteurised. So, you might try that in your experimentation. I've also noticed here in France they have micro-filtered milk (lait micro-filtré) but I'm not sure if that's pasteurised or not. I think it's not, but you have to look on the label. I often get cheeses, butter, and other products with lait cru (raw milk). From what I understand some of the enzymes destroyed with pasteurisation are absolutely necessary for some people to be able to digest milk products, so I think that's why the non-pasteurised works for them.

Hello Marc from another stormy afternoon on Cape Cod in the northeastern part of the US. Like you...we are gardening in between the too frequent rains.. Your property looks wonderful...just need to say again.... not to crowd plants ....like your peonies. Also once they get taller, they will need some support because the flowers are too heavy for the stem. Here they sell metal rings, but you could make something more natural. Kudos to you for supporting the environment by using so much natural materials like that honeysuckle fence. Re: seedlings...here ...no slugs, but we have chipmunks who can climb and nibble and bunnies. My bunnies love hostas so much that I cannot have any and had to give a garden-full away to friends and to my garden club plant sales. This is the 3rd and last yr of potting up hosta and passing them along. If you are wondering what to do with all those potatoes, there may be a homeless shelter or some kind of center to donate them to. We have food pantries to donate food to and families in need can come for free and get groceries every week. Also places that make and serve lunch to the hungry. Looks like you have fruit trees too that yield too much for you that you could donate. You could also give some to your clients. One of my gardeners actually brought me food that he cooked! Although I go my doctor for a yearly checkup and blood test, most of my good health is due, like you, is to my own observations. Re: coffee...decades ago, I notices that regular coffee affected my eyesight...made thing blurry. So I switched to decaf. Years, later...I stopped putting sugar in my coffee and suffered thru withdrawal. Over 10 yrs ago, I figured out that dairy was causing inflammation so I began drinking my coffee black. It tasted just awful, but within a short time, I got use to it. So now I love decaf, no sugar and black. Good health is a process and also no pain (for a short time), no gain.

I suggest you do you re the carnivore diet. Due to immense indoctrination, it is suggested that this is a bad idea. It's not for everyone, granted, but it's worked for me. I'd also recommend Phil Escott: The Five A Day Myth (on you tube). Love the vlogs, they're brilliant 🎉

Hi Marc. I'm absolutely no expert on carnivore diet but i do know that when i look at packaged meat & charcuterie labels the list of chemicals and added salt is shocking and my partner had to stop processed meats due to kidney stones. Without fruit and vegetables where do you get any vitamins 🤔

I'm so glad you have changed to carnavour, milk can have an effect on your body it makes me ich so I don't drink milk at all, I had the same thing tingles all over when I woke up with the doctor just brushed off, I think doctors wait until your to sick and they know what's happening just turn a blind eye until you have diabetes or hard disease then they can push the pills, keep going you will feel better everyday.
@gardenia776 ай бұрын
You ARE doing carnivore! I have been on it for just over a month. I still have some health issues I'm hoping to resolve, but I've lost some weight, which needed to happen. You might want to try heavy cream (would that be double cream to you?) instead of milk. I have some autoimmune issues I'm trying to resolve. I, too, have not had great experiences with doctors, unfortunately.

Your food allergy investigation is very interesting and glad you are feeling better. Am worried for you on the amount of protein you are currently consuming. Okay for the short term but there are a lot of long term effects. Hope you can find some other vegetables that agree with you that you can add into your diet. I personally enjoy a salad of lettuce and cucumber with a vinegarette😊. If hungry, add some cold rice noodles or maybe toasted wonton strips for crunch.
