The way this family supports each other makes my heart glad. My husband and I are a family of two. We have love overflowing, but we only have one another. This DIY Chateau vlog has become such a lovely part of my week during my own illness. Percy and Isabelle have been on my mind and in my prayers daily. I'm so very pleased to see he showed improvement while Stephanie and his son were still there. I can see what a brave face Isabel has and her radiant smile is an inspiration. I was so surprised when he mentioned Sir John Soane's Museum as I have just yesterday discovered their YT channel which shows the restoration of the private apartment as well as many other things connected with the museum. The work they are doing is just incredible.

Hi Stephanie, I don't expect you will remember my name, Sally Winterbourn. I sent you a pretty pink and white dress a couple of Christmas's ago. I wanted to tell you that I had TB in every area of both my lungs. I was 19 and the doctors couldn't work out how I got it. I got better in 4 months with more up to date medication. It has made me want to pray for dear Percy and your lovely mummy! Looking forward to seeing him and that he will feel much better very soon. Love from Sally xxx

We are so glad Percy is getting better, such a gentleman a soft spoken, romantic and a delight of a man. So nice to hear Pavlina talking about what the garden has rendered, such a nice a woman that is always willing to give a hand at anything the chateau needs. Maria is the genius as a cook, an amazing pianist and delightful comic. We have to admit we cannot say the same for Marie and her always negative comments ( “I was kicked out”, while living it up in the south of France, probably paid by her boss). You can dry the lavendar bunches by hanging them in bunches tied to the ceiling some how, pehaps a beam in the old horse stables or anywhere that is dry. Or hang them from the curtain rods in a room that isn't used a lot. The sun coming in the window will speed things up along with an oscillating fan. Hanging them upside down will also help retain some of the colour. Good luck!
