Health tip: diabetic friendly recipe - broken wheat briyani - சம்பா கோதுமை பிரியாணி | Poorniffy

Hi All,
Hope you all enjoy this recipe. After trying this recipe I stopped preparing briyani with white rice. My whole family loves and enjoy this recipe. This is a diabetic friendly recipe and time consuming.

Ingredients:
Broken wheat (சம்பா கோதுமை ரவை) - 1 cup
Ghee (நெய்) - 1tsp; Cashews (முந்திரி) - 10
Fennel seeds (சோம்பு) - 1/2 tspn
Onion (வெங்காயம்) - 1; Tomato (தக்காளி) - 1
Ginger garlic paste (இஞ்சிபூண்டு விழுது) - 1tsp
Green Chilly (பச்சை மிளகாய்) - 4
Chilly powder (மிளகாய் தூள்) - 1tsp
Turmeric powder (மஞ்சள் தூள்) - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala (கரம் மசாலா) - 1tspn
Mixed vegetables (காய்கறிகள்) - 1/2 cup
Fresh coriander leaves (கொத்தமல்லி) - as req
salt (உப்பு) - as req
