I know the pain of raising kid in abroad. Kids struggle to speak in Tamil at home. When they start speaking few words in Tamil they switch to English. But as a parent we ensure kid should not forget Tamil or else they ll not only forget mother tongue but also the fun they have with their cousins during vacation. But I see parent speak in English in India to their kids at home. We try all possible ways to project the Indian festivals and culture. kids also adore it with huge respect. Only people who don’t get something easily will adore that so much. Indian by race will never change. Some people say kid who don’t get raised in India are not well disciplined. I don’t agree that at all. My 5+ year old daughter lives only with memories she had in India trip
