Jenny, listening to you brings back all that I went thru that is similar to your experiences. Although my 2nd surgery was from a twist in my Sigmoid colon, I suffered the most excruciating pain that I have ever had. I could not urinate and anything else, was vomiting, due to the horrible pain...it was awful. Had the pic line like you did. Yep, they have to do the necessary things to make us comfortable and help us. Thank goodness for morphine or whatever they gave me for pain relief because it instantly helped me. Many years later I am still fine after my 2 surgeries, but I do watch my diet faithfully. Praying for you as you share your experiences with us. ✝️🙏❤️

Sorry to butt in but I just wanted to say thank God you two are doing well. I just had an emergency surgery was in the hospital for 3 weeks or so part of my issue was a partial blockage and a whole list of weird issues... They were worried and pretty sure it was cancer my mom died at 57 and my grandmother wasn't even 40... Aunts and Uncles on both sides. I'm 39 I have 3 little ladies who depend on me, I was scared I won't lie all I could think was who's gonna raise and be a daddy to my girls if it doesn't go my way... God is good and I ended up with 4 or 5 procedures and turns out I will get the chance to raise my girls and no cancer... I was one of the fortunate ones... They don't have all the answers but I'm feeling a lot better and we are working on "figuring it out"... There have been a lot of crappy things the last few months my employer told me to get healthy your job will be here no matter what it takes. I was off for 2 and a half, maybe 3 months mostly unpaid but I was thankful just knowing hey at least I got a company in my corner... I went back to work beginning of December and 4 days later out of the blue I got a voicemail saying my position was being eliminated due to current needs of the company effective immediately... I found out later that was the plan but they couldn't just fire me they needed to let me come back first, who knows why... It was awful already behind on everything and then throat cut right before Christmas... Still out of work no unemployment how do you feed your family ??? I mean if I don't eat it is what it is but, I can't let my family starve, be cold or dirty I am responsible for them it is my job and I wouldn't have it any other way but I don't know how or what to do lol... I found out my employer was very upset that I left work one day and was in hospital the next and having surgery... They thought I should have have been more responsible and tell them when were and got their permission, if I was having a elective surgery or could have done the "responsible" way for them my god I would have but it wasn't a nose job or just lying to get off work, I wish I had the luxury to pre-plan get things in order, I didn't though... With the way things have turned now I would never have gone to the hospital that day or night... At least my kids would have a normal life and not see daddy fail them but my surgeon says I wouldn't have been able to go on much longer they were shocked I was walking in on my own and let alone working 75-85 hours a week........ Anyways I'm so sorry I hijacked your comment I swear I didn't come to complain I just wanted to congratulate you guys and I don't get to rant very often I guess I needed to get it out lol !!! Please, I hope I didn't offend or irritate and any of you !!! I came here to tell you how much it warms my heart yinz are "good" and praise the Lord! God bless and take care, Thank you !!

What a time you had. You are very strong!❤ I am always praying for you. I think you are right. The constant laying probably caused the blockage. They really did not take their time putting the tube down your throat. Maybe they did feel that it was urgent to know what is happening to you. That must have been a bit scary. You look very well now despite everything. Keep posting when you can. We love to see you❤

Thank you! Yeah, that NG tube is an ordeal. I don't know how they can make it any better seeing as they have to get it past the gag reflex and I obviously have a high reflex reaction. And a high mucous reaction! Ugh. Glad that is over. And thank you for the continued prayers! 💜

Oh my, I'm so sorry Jenny. If it helps I know exactly how you felt. Three days after my rectal tumor was removed I developed an ileus. Resulting in a JP line. 3 people for an hour could not get it in. I was done. My surgeon actually came in from home, drugged me and finally got it in. Absolutely horrible for four days. Just terrible. Then the PICC line. They also did not want to use my port. The PICC line was used for giving me TPN and blood work. I was finally able to have the JP line removed and sent home. I am still getting nutrients from the TPN daily. But I do have output. You are not alone!. Stay strong and thank you for your videos.

Dear Jenny I feel like I let you down. I changed my name to Doe-A-Dear (as a Deer came to our front door). Also I changed my name from my Full real name, to this. As my friend's said you don't use your own name on You tube? My husband and I follow a few (not everyone, as nice as you, I am sad to say). So, I just want to say I did not need any more anxiety. You are a lovely lady Jenny. I ended up in hospiital again for several weeks, bleeding Urosostomy, bi lateral kidney issues and other stuff. However, I did not think you would remember me and I told you quite a bit. I opened up. The people on your channel are all very nice too. But I felt guilty, as I remenbered you for sure. I wanted to say how very happy I am that you are in remission.❤ I thought I was brave having the tube down my throat for about 2.5 hours. I have the incurable, progressive Systemic Sclereroderma (rare) auto immune disease and I nursed my mum, she had a colostomy. You are brave Jenny, and give me strength. I wonder if you can use Coloplast Removal Spray? My urosostomy used to bleed badly, but since using that product, it has helped immensely. I believe you can use on your Colostomy as well? It was not available in Mum"s timr.. However please do check. I know your medical system is very dififferent where you are from. I have been pretty sick, but your strength has been helping me. So I felt guilty you thought I had forgotten about you. However, that is not the case.Far from it. Just so very happy, you are in remission.🎉 You are very brave Jenny. Yes it oftenv does not make sense in hospitial. If I got back to you already sorry hmm I just have not felt the best Thank you Jenny. I think of your bravery often. And try to be like you a bit. I can honestly say I have found out which family and friends care too. Since I don't have time to listen to how their hair did not turn out to their liking. Etc I had chemo (I think I told you). Specialists try anything, as their is no cure. If you had chemo, It is hard as. Really hard going. Keep on going though Jenny you are as brave as. And because I am watching part 1, I will look for a part 2? Deb x PS. Apologies for errors, hope this makes sense. ❤
