Jenny I am so very sorry that you had another BIG scare. However, you handled it so very well. Great thinking to ask about the stool softener. One of my Auto Immune disease's affects my GI. I have slow motility. I was in hospital and the Nurse mixed the stool softening agent you mentioned and she incorrectly mixed it. Golly Gosh. I was glad I was already there in hospital, pure AGONY. You do look very smart and co-ordinated with your jumper and nail polish. You are teaching me so many things. THANK YOU. (Listening to my body, is a big take away). You are a loving caring soul Jenny. Please do not forget to drink water (if too much watery stool comes out). But I am only going on, when I was looking after Mum, and know you already know your body pretty well. You do not seem to panic. The paper plant is a great idea. ❤ I can't breathe if I smell perfume. So if they send to Australia, that is great. (And I am a tree hugger) I live with birds, trees, plants and rescue animals. Not inside the house ha ha. The rescue animals, is as best as I can now. Keep up your good work Jenny. You know your body best. How or what do you do to be calm? I am incurable as you know, and wonder if you recommend books, or anything for calm? Obviously please don't stress with answering me for help. As we are here to cheer you up. I would also like to thank you for being honest. Your channel is a very good channel for transperancy. I appreciate that. I will keep sending so much more love, light and visualisation of happy times. DebX

Thank you. And, yeah, I'm trying to make sure to drink more water. As for being calm, I guess that's just part of my personality. I do do some meditations once in awhile. I look up meditation music for healing or I have done some guided meditations for the chakras. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. It's great that you love animals. Me, too. Thanks for the continued prayers and I hope you continue to feel well. 💜

Oh I didn't like seeing this update title, but so happy to hear you didn't have to go to the ER!! I had my liver resection on Dec 4, followed by adhesion...I was getting sick when I should have been going home, so had to go back into surgery, NG (second time for me) TPN --which they used my port. My surgeon asked why I don't want to use it, I was that protective LOL. But he put it in and he was for using it so I was good with his 'approval'. His/the team was great, they came and checked my port regularly... so no PICC line this time--yay! I have the gastro condition SIBO and I can see the loss of my gall bladder has changed the bowel habits, so I'm having to get reacquainted with my digestive system. Fortunately it's not worse, in fact maybe a little easier to deal with in some respects, time will tell. Here's to us and our journeys. It's comforting to follow someone having a similar experience as dealing with cancer is challenging and can feel lonely at times.
@jenny_rice8 ай бұрын
I'm sorry you had to have 2 surgeries to fix your condition. And that NG tube - oof! I'm glad they were able to use your port for the TPN, though. Better than having another needle put in. Prayers that everything goes well with your digestion and you figure out easily how it will work for you. 💜🙏

Your surgery, the trauma, the medicines, the antibiotics, et al have really done a job on you, as they do on anyone going through any kind of surgery. My heart goes out to you. But with all that in mind --- dairy products can be a killer for some people. It's the milk solids, hormones, and casein. I swear if I even think about having a bite of cheese or a sip of milk I will get constipated. LOL I can tolerate the A2 milk but I don't even consider cheese of any kind. It took me my whole life to discover the hazards of cheese. Highly addictive as well. While you are in this beginning phase of healing and adjusting maybe consider not eating any dairy products at all. No cheese, creams (even in soups), milk, and probably any gluten products. It cannot hurt at this time, but I am sure it will help. Your poor gut is still traumatized, I'm sure. I hope you are keeping your electrolytes up (potassium, magnesium, and salt) as they are critical to life. I am not a medical doctor of course, just someone who cares. Two years ago I had a couple bouts with eating the wrong foods that caused constipation with the end result being getting sick. It was horrible. That's when I really researched the dairy stuff, cheese especially. Strange what makes a body change its mind about what works and what no longer works, LOL. Glad you got the books. I can't wait to hear your comments as you get into them. Ok, long enough for now, so I will sign off. I think of you all the time and send many prayers your way. Keep strong! Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings!!! In light and love, Morgan

Thank you so much! I know I figured out I have somewhat of a dairy intolerance as I would get extra mucousy after drinking milk. I didn't usually have that much of a problem after eating something like pizza. But I stopped drinking regular milk and have cut down on the cheese and dairy. And, yes, I'll let you know what I think of the books. 💜

Thank you for your update Jenny. It is trial-and-error, I feel, with what foods your body will expect and still continue to heal. We all are different, but I found I need to eat Gluten-free, low FODMAP, no diary and I need to forego eating the cruciferous vegetables. I know when I have eaten incorrectly.....my body definitely tells me. And my surgeon said to take Citrucel powder everyday. Praying for you throughout this process. Take care, Jenny. Praying ✝️🙏❤️

Meat has no fibre and is actually quite easily digestible. I would avoid breads and pastas which can be constipating, ie blockage. Maybe give chicken and white rice a try and slowly add in a leafy green in small amounts. Good luck!!

Let us know how the books are
@jenny_rice2 ай бұрын
I have read The Choice and thought it was really good. For me the first half of the book was kind of sad as she is documenting her life of what was happening when WWII started and her going to the concentration camps and how life was there. But that showed how resilient she and her sister were. She ended up becoming a psychologist and wrote about how she was able to help people because of the experiences she had. I have not had a chance to read The Gift, yet. 💜

Why are you not keeping in contact with your Dr. it’s like you are taking such high risks to your health when you determine if you should or shouldn’t get medical advice. Especially since you just got out of the Hospital. You’re just asking for trouble. You are not a Dr. or do you have any medical knowledge . Please take your health seriously and be the pt. Not the Dr.
@jenny_rice8 ай бұрын
Well, I know at this point if I have a blockage they will put a tube down my throat and I'll end up having surgery. So I need to listen to my body, as the Doctor has told me, and see if I really feel I need that. It's something I have to figure out. 💜
