To make the lettuce last even longer, remove all the lettuce from that clear box, line bottom with paper towel. layer in the lettuce, then some paper toweling, then more lettuce, paper towel on that, etc until all lettuce is back in clear box. Also IMPORTANT: remove any crushed or moldy looking leaves as you do this, mold begets mold, quickly.

I always do the paper towel trick in the boxed lettuces. Another trick is to save the empty plastic lettuce box and half the new one into two containers so there is more room and the lettuce is less compressed.

Hi, Bobby! Great video, as always. I was thinking that instead of buying sugar filled raisins, you could make your own sugar-free craisins (dehydrated cranberries). There are a lot of recipes on the internet for them using monk fruit or erythritol. I am sure your followers would like to see this. I make these and keep a batch in my freezer for various recipes. They would be good for Rose, too (no sugar).

I've recently found your channel and I am absolutely loving it for a variety of reasons, and since then, my shopping list has become a real game changer. I've never bought Aldis chicken before due to the fact that I've always heard horrible reviews about it. But based on your recommendations in this video, I decided to buy a pack or Aldis organic chicken breast. I brought the chicken home and proceeded to butterfly the chicken; the chicken had lots of bone like grizzle on the inside of the meat, including rubber hard tendons, and bloody hard veins, and lots and lots of fat. The meat also had all of this loose fibrous tissue that was webbing and shredding in layers straight through to the other side, it was also very tough, so tough that I could barely cut through it. Another concern that I had is that I didn't notice until I gotten the chicken home was that the chicken breast had contained '"rib meat". After this mess, I read online that this loose webbing and shredding of raw chicken meat occurs from the chickens being too closely stuck together inhumanly in an encaged area, and also from freezing the meat. I thought that Aldis advertises that the chicken is always fresh, and never frozen? Aldi's organic chicken breast meat (Simply nature) is a hoax and a fraud. Never again will I purchase this meat, its horrifying to say the very least!

Maybe you could show us how to make those Cheese Crisps in one of your cooking videos? I know I’ve seen the Parmesan ones made but never cheddar. I know it involves the oven and a silpat but no idea of oven temp or time. Or even if they get really crispy or end up kind of limp. Limp I can get in the microwave. And just a reminder about non-organic raisins - dried fruit ‘concentrates’ not just the sugar in the fruit but any pesticides on it when it was dried. And I’ve never seen anyone ever wash raisins. Hopefully they were washed before drying. The problem with non-organic raisins is because they are less filling that grapes, people tend to eat more of them. Aldi has lots of dried fruit choices. I think choosing a different dried fruit - one that IS organic might should be mentioned. Or even a non-dried organic fruit replacement. Like apple chunks?
