HEALTHY ENERGY BITES
Following Healthy energy bites are healthy & sugarfree snacks, loaded with dietary fiber, omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants & minerals.
1. CHOCOLATE OATS & NUTS ENERGY BITES (PEANUT BUTTER - BASE)
Ingredients :
Rolled Oats 100 gm
Instant normal oats 50 gm
Peanut butter 120 g
Almonds 50 g
Cashews 50 gm
Raisins 40 g
Oil 50 gm
Honey 100 g
Method: Roast both the oats & dry fruits . In a blender blend these oats, dryfruits, peanut butter, oil & honey. For flavouring you can add vanilla essence. Blend it properly and take the mixture on a plate. Make small balls of it. Set in a fridge for 30 min.
For chocolate coating :
In another bowl melt Dark chocolate 200 gm and add 2 tbsp. Oil and mix it . Coat the above bites . And set in a fridge .
2. DATES , NUTS & SEEDS ENERGY BITES
Dates 200 g,
Almonds 30 g
Cashews 30 g
Pumpkin seeds 25 gm
Sunflower seeds 25 g
Dry coconut flakes b50 g
Oil 2 tbsp
Honey 2 tbsp
For coating of balls:
Desiccated coconut 30 gm
In a blender take dates, Almonds, Cashews, Pumpkin seeds, Sunflower seeds, oil & honey. Blend it properly. Remove on a plate & make balls. Coat with Desiccated coconut . Set in a fridge.
