The Sobey's in my neighborhood was converted to a Farm Boy---do NOT like it all--very very little selection/Farm Boy brands are very expensive--the deli/meat area is far smaller than what Sobey's had (I couldn't believe a couple of pieces of fried chicken cost $6.95 and it was cold)-and there are very few national brands---there is NO WAY Farm Boy compares to Trader Joe's in any way--I would rather make the trip to the US border and shop at Trader Joe's as I won't shop at Farm Boy again

I’m obsessed with farm boy. I actually used to work at one many years ago. I won’t get my fruits and veg from anywhere else! It’s definitely my favourite grocery store. The quality of meat there is incredible too

I bought one of those two and my feeling was the same. I had to doctor it up. I just tried mas best today I bought it at Metro! I was shocked at how good it was. The best bought soup I have ever had. I am going to have to put on an order when they open for curbside!

You should try the Farm Boy brand deli meats, they roast their own and it’s so good. Fun Fact Farm Boy is an Ottawa based company. 🙂

To answer your question about the pickles, I think they only sell them in the summer for BBQ season :( They are in the same type of plastic container that the soups are in. They come in spicy and not spicy and are the Farm Boy brand! Hope that helps! 🙂

The edayummy dip is the best. I get it every time. Their pico is really good too, popcorn, corn chips, pita crackers. They have flavoured sparkling water, fun flavours like cream soda. I havent' tried but have heard amazing things!! LOVE FB!

I’ve been hearing a lot about Farm boy from TikTok. I had no idea that there was a location near me as I thought they were all in Toronto and downtown. I went there today and was pleasantly surprised picked up a lot of really nice dinners for the next couple of days as well as their everything but the bagel seasoning dip which is my new favourite and tried one of their Canadian Berry kombucha.

In wisconsin we call them garlic tops at the farmers market and they are so delicious chopped in 1 inch pieces in roasted green beans or roasted potatoes or in an omelet; so delicious. With potatoes are the best!!!

Wow! Im surprised about bananas and avocado price in Canada. Here in El Salvador , Central America I can get all those bananas for like less than $1 and I get 3 avocados for $1. I was shocked when I saw the avocado price , 2 x $5! Wow 😮 I feel so lucky that fruit and vegetables are cheap down here 😊😋

I love pickles, and I love finding a new favorite. I believe the pickles they serve with their burgers are their Polish Dill pickles. They have garlic, horseradish, allspice... all the good, zesty flavors!

You always mention “limited ingredients” in items you buy. I agree it’s better, however, if a item has limited ingredients with bad oils such as vegetable and Canola oil, it defeats the purpose. What do you think? Love your videos and cookbook!!
