I just wanted to say I really appreciate how you allow your kids to live their lives while you film (wandering in and out, interacting with you, etc.), while also respecting their privacy. It's so refreshing!

Accept them. Be gracious, loving, and say thankful. Then, let your kids use the items for a day or two. If it's an outfit, take a picture in it. Then, GIVE IT AWAY! When I started doing this and stopped being frustrated with those who kept giving us more than we need, life became more peaceful, and those relationships stopped being strained. Bless.

@@anastasiatelles9304Keep them? If you are quite minimal otherwise, the 2- 3 extra- things won't matter. Like, what is ONE extra- outfit? If you feel it gets too much, just get rid of something else they won't miss. ( And if it is toys, I am bit of the mind that you have to respect your kids wishes. If you have the space and want to room clean, find other storage? But in general, let the child decide and maybe observe whether they use the thing. If yes, keep it?)

I may have been brought to tears when you mentioned where our strength comes from. Amen! It can be easy to get sucked into a mindset that "i deserve more free time" or "i do so much for my family." In reality I feel ive been called to serve my family as a humble wife/mom. Constantly learning and growing in Christ alongside my little family.

Love how you encourage empathetically without de-emphasizing the gravity of the task of motherhood. Just because it is hard doesn't mean we should always lower our standards-- we should keep trying to rise to the challenge! It seems to me very similar to being a Christian. I fail over and over, but faith is in getting back up and continuously trying to bear the fruit of the spirit, relying on and using God's grace to pull myself up and not fall into despair.

Verses mentioned: Psalm 138 & 139. I watched this vid a few days ago and kept thinking back to these verses but couldn’t remember where to find them! Planning to write them down and commit to memory ❤️ How OFTEN do we as moms feel overwhelmed. M is for Mama says that the mother is the “emotional thermostat” for the house. These go together so well. It’s a heavy burden to carry - but we don’t have to carry it alone!

My cycle affects me the same way. I plan my productivity around the high energy days and I let my husband know when my days of death are coming 😂. I then have no cleaning, no cooking days. That lasts about 4-5 days. Then at the end of my cycle I’m coming back to life. And I have no guilt about that.

Sarah!! You wonderful woman of God and Momma, can you please make a video teaching me how to plan ? 😅 I love the way you lead as a mother and homemaker and wife. I learn so much from each of your videos, but I feel like I’m still at a loss in this one place, but so much of what you do is so helpful and aligns with where I’m at, I feel like if I could fully understand how you plan then I could try it myself and make a missing piece “click” finally. Do you plan every cleaning task in your home aside from automated ones you do daily like kitchen clean up and laundry and tidying? Or do you just do them when they look like they need cleaning? I’ve been trying to clean things every few days whether they look dirty or not and it’s definitely helping keep those things light, but then I feel like I’m just doing the same things every day and I’m not getting to the other stuff that matters and I’m getting lost in that 😅

I used to wear jeans all the time. But after kids, something happened. My body doesn’t do well with a lot of waistbands. I have one pair of jeans that are pretty comfortable, but still not comfortable enough to wear all day while I’m swirling around the house. I decided to let the notion go of wearing jeans.
