Heres one I bet many people never thought of : Lettuce and tomato sandwiches. Ive loved these forever. Just cut a thick slice of tomato (to keep your bread from getting soggy, dab the tomato slice well with a paper napkin - this absorbs most of the watery juice), add plenty of lettuce, use either mustard (my fave) or fat free greek yogurt as condiments and use some good whole grain bread and youve got a very nice lunch or anytime snack. Bring 2 for lunch and thatll do it. You can sub spinach, but lettuce is very cheap. This is a tasty way to lose weight and very healthy, no fat, just great flavor.

Could you do a segment on portions to eat? Like plate sizes. I’m visual person so it’s easier for me to see it so that way I know how much a healthy portion is. 😊

You should've added black pepper with the Tumeric so you'll consume even more of the benefits (Tumeric + black pepper = friends)

Yovana, when making the lentil soup just adding water makes it taste good? I would think the veggies help but is it that flavorful? Otherwise, looks delicious and thanks for having the budget friendly recipes. Need more..💓

Can you eat legumes with SIBO then?? I'd love to hear how you're dealing with SIBO pleeeeeeaaassse 🙏
@courtneyann244 жыл бұрын
SIBO will heal over time with medication and diet. After a while, a person can slowly start to Incorporate a variety of foods back into their diet again. Also, there are many different dietary approaches to SIBO based on nutrient needs, damage caused by the bacteria and even the way certain foods are cooked can create a big difference in patients with SIBO. Some legumes and grains in small amounts can be extremely good for someone, but over doing some of them can re-create the fermentation issue and the overgrowth to repopulate. Managing sibo dietarily is such a meticulous process!!!

I eat meat 24/7 particularly chicken and beef since I’m a bodybuilder. Thank you for denouncing veganism and eating meat we all need a little meat in our life.
@traceymarshall58864 жыл бұрын
I've been vegan since 1988...yovana was a fake. She blames the vegan diet when she was anorexic and not eating any food for 25 days at a time!!! She was starving herself. She was not a vegan
@Joshtherealdeal4 жыл бұрын
tracey marshall Like any diet Veganism is temporary it leaves you deficient in other areas no diet is superior . Eating all groups of the food chain is the way to go.I applaud her for eating meat and not becoming a statistic like most vegans.
@traceymarshall58864 жыл бұрын
@@Joshtherealdeal as a vegan since 1988...it is definitely not a temporary diet. I have never been deficient in my diet and I dont take supplements. I can show you my blood test results if you are concerned that vegans are "deficient". I'm delighted her KZbin channel has failed because starvation is not a vegan diet and should not be confused with her starving her body
@Joshtherealdeal4 жыл бұрын
tracey marshall Most vegans are deficient in D and B12 you may not have problems yet but you will one day.. All the sugar fruit you consume will make some people sensitive and prone to diabetes. With a vegan diet you can’t make cholesterol.. Eat some meat 🍖
@traceymarshall58864 жыл бұрын
@@Joshtherealdeal your comment is fake news and not based on fact. Can you produce a medical journal which backs up this statement? I dont know a single vegan who is deficient in anything...and I spend most of my time with them as I obviously meet them in vegan restaurants. My brother is 6ft2in and he is also vegan and also not deficient. You seem to have a problem accepting it's a healthy diet. You say I will have a problem??? You seemed to have been deficient in reading that I have been vegan since 1988...I have never been deficient...again I can send you all if my blood records for the past 20 years if you question this. I'd like to point out vitamin D is from the sun so if you are claiming white people are deficient in vitamin D well maybe you dont understand white peoples skin and that they get vitamin d from the sun.
