아세톤 처리 후 닦을 때 투명하지 않았다. 결론은 wd40으로 인해서 일시적으로 투명한 것처럼 보인다는 거. wd 40 이 시간 지나서 마르면 다시 뿧옇게 됨. 결론: 망한 작업

Кола здесь--чистый маркетинг. Вполне нормально работает с серией разной зернистости наждачной бумаги с обычной водой. И завершается полировкой с применением даже самой обычной зубной пасты.

@user-ot8jf1dj8h Это вообще халтура и обман! Видно же, что него не получилось сделать полноценный глянец, фара осталась мутной. Только испортил наждачкой, нельзя так делать! Так он решил схитрить, побрызгал в конце маслом и натёр! Через 2-3 дня масло испарится и фара снова будет мутная. Есть много всяких полиролей, которыми можно всё отполировать безо всяких наждачек. Ролик - в топку!

Simple wet and dry, no need for Coke or acetone. Use coarse grit down to fine, then polish with a finishing compound.

When you go to all this effort you then need to clear coat it otherwise it just comes back quickly.. all headlights are clear coated to protect from uv damage so if you don't do that after cleaning then whats the point ..😂

I guarantee Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish works the fastest and best for restoring and cleaning head lights. It will last for month. Just put some on a clothe, rub it on and wipe off. Less than 5 minutes. No need for sanding .

Change Coke into Water and you will have the Same effect...important is to use the correct steps of sandpaper .....start with 800 - 1000- 1200 - 1500-2000 -2500 and end with 3000 and Always use water.... than polish to Finish

Дур вищої проби , нащо кока кола як є вода наждачний папір очищає і полірує останнім номером і просто лакуєш ,або якщо без лаку то поліруєш пастою ,що краще ,бо в слідуючий раз старий лак здерти важко , а самий вірний спосіб купити нову фару і не морочити собі голову і тратити час .якщо на станції роблять то не дуже якісно ,лак відлущується а 60 € заплати ,або знову жовкне через піа року

Don't waste all that time and money on sandpaper and a lousy can of Coke! Go get yourself a bottle of 3M rubbing compound at your local auto parts store use a buffer and it will be done in less than 5 minutes 👍 And you don't have to take your headlight out in order to do it that's crap!

This is an insult to anyone with intelligence. A headlight lens is opac because the plastic is eaten away and pitted...how does any soft drink fill in the rough surface? It can't! That surface must be smoothed by abrasion which coke can't possibly do with sugar water. Duh.

It will come back sooner than you ever thought ... It isn't a permanent solution. Use special paste and finish it with a clear coat. By the way, Coca-Cola (Fanta, Sprite, Pepsi, Sisi, 7Up) is an acid fluid as long as it contains carbon dioxide.

Lol.... After watching more of this.....horse crap.... Just go and buy yourself a bottle of 3M rubbing compound and use a buffer to get that crap off the lens! It will cost you about 15 to $17 for the bottle of 3M rubbing compound versus the $30 for all the sandpaper that this guy is using on the headlight.

Jee-eeezzze. Stop the madness folks. Quit trying to improve your old ass headlights and just buy a pair of new ones. They are all fairly cheap and will look great for another 7-10 years. These quick fix crappy cheap ass solutions only last a few months. Just pony up and get some new ones and be done.

I think using an open flame to heat the acetone is extreemly dangerous ,it would be better to heat it up with an hairdrier or heat gun.

Only good and cheap way is: grind with 400, 800 and 1200 paper and water, leave it to dry. Then steam it with ordinary aceton for nails. It is like new and last for years.

The only thing the coke did here is work as a lubricant. The sandpaper removed whatever they used to darken the lens. I suspect soap and water would have removed that. As volatile as acetone is I would not try heating it. Please do not try that ! This video is a total sham !

Why is the liquid coming oyt in clear color. The coke is black therefore it have to come out in a darker color. Not in white. İts a fake video

It cost more money to buy all the tools and supplies needed for your fix than it does to have it done for you. How many people have a glue gun, acetone, aluminum duct tape, grit grit sand paper, etc. Waste of time. Process is much longer than 5 minutes.
