Made the sauteed greens for dinner tonight, and they were fantastic. The kale turned out perfectly toothsome, not tough at all. Thank you!!

I really love your recipes. Do you know that the one you made with chickpeas is almost falafel recipe 😊. We make it with chickpeas, onion (quarter and onion for the quantity you made) a clove of garlic and parsley, adding a bit of green coriander is tasty with it as well. Then for spices we add cumin, dried coriander and salt, i also add some sesame seeds inside for a great flavour. Usually we dee fry them but there is a special mold for frying falafel because they need to be pressed a bit to reserve their shape and not turn into crumbs when fried. We can eat it with tahini mixed with some lemon salt cumin and a bit of water to reach like a crepe consistency. Or you can roll it into a sandwich by putting some hummus on a flat bread then falafel, tomato , pickles, tahini and a sprinkle of sumac, fresh mint taste great with it as well. The drink next to it us black tea with a leaf or two of mint in the cup and sugar to taste. It’s an authentic Palestinian recipe 😊

Everything looks so easy and yummy! Do you mind telling me where you found the brackets for your shelves?

Well thank you! Those shelves were such a fun find! It’s this set: amzn.to/49MkHrH The brackets actually belonged to an old set of shelves so I don’t have a link for those.

Great ideas. I bet as an extension of your chick pea burgers you could add some lemon juice, garlic and tahini and have Hummus burgers. Love your channel.

everything looked super good! that chicken, woot woot! I have been wanting to make a burger out of black beans or what you did with the chickpeas. I just haven't done it yet! I have roasted chickpeas in the oven to make them crunchy for a snack, I don't think I left them in long enough, they were ok, but not great! thanks so much for sharing! xoxo

You can do it! Just take it one meal at a time and master what you can so you don’t have to think hard while you’re cooking. 💚 I adore this slow cooker because you can sauté in it too! It’s this one: amzn.to/49GoWoO

Ah yes! I wash them first, then put them in a glass jar with about a cup of water. They store for at least a week in the fridge! Saves me so much 💚

Quick question, in most of your recipes you use coconut sugar. My husband is allergic to coconut. As a nutritionist, what other sweetener would you recommend instead?
@healthyelizabeth3 күн бұрын
That’s a great question, I’m glad you asked! The perfect sub for coconut sugar is sucanat, which is unrefined cane sugar. Then the next best is just raw cane sugar, which is still less processed but not “unrefined”. Sucanat looks like this: amzn.to/4gE5YkY
