Hi guys! It's good to hear your take on the latest Jabra Speak2 series. I was torn between which one to get. But after watching and listening to the audio samples you provided, I'm leaning towards the 75, since I prefer longer battery life and richer bass. Congrats by the way, on your 52K+ subs. I've been a fan since 2018, but I had to search up for your account again since I changed laptops and I forgot my password in my old YT account. Thanks again for such a great review!

Thanks for the video, it was really helpful as I am looking for a portable speaker for meetings and more. Will probably get the 75 due to the huge battery life and… the custom button! 🥳

I like this new style of video. Though I do also like your usual format for helping to choose ear buds, they're laid out well and sectioned into nice segments about features and such. Very useful for showing other people as well. Maybe if you prefer this format of sitting together and talking candidly, you could take some of the features from the other style of videos and smoosh them both together.

Excellent video! I am looking for micro for zoom calls, could you please let me know which micro did you use in this video? that could be also a great alternative for me. I am wondering if your microphone has better quality than Jabra’s Speak2 75

What do you think about using devices in the car while driving as a hands-free kit? My main concern is picking up noise from a moving vehicle.

Guys, pls review and compare microphones like DJI wireless mic and Rode Go 2. Also compare them with dynamic microphones like Shure. Many confusions on which one to buy for better audio for youtube videos in several circumstances (indoor and outdoor). There is no clear video out there in youtube in this category, so you guys have a better opportunity and you have your unique style. So, pls try it and finally if you can tell what microphones do you use in your videos would help me in buying decision. Cheers 😀.

Great video! the audio of my jabra speak 2 55 with macbook pro is awful if connected via bluetooth, definetly better if connect via USB. In your video is oudns good with direct BT connection: i just created a standard mac/jabra connection, Did you experience the same thing as well? Any idea why in my case it sounds so bad via Bluetooth? If connected via Bluetooth to my iPhone, it sounds good!

Very good video. I have not seen led lights at all on the Speak2 55 for the buttons. That is not a good step up when the room lighting is low, as it regularly happens in meeting rooms. Was that uncomfortable to use for you while testing with it? Thank you. Also I had the SPEAK2 75 and even though it´s great speaker, it kinda goes to the heavy weight to carry from here to there... I think Jabra's whole Speak line up has been getting worse and worse over the years. Their product designers, management, and sound engineers are doing things backwards. Feels to me their design philosophy has been focused on cost savings. They've successively cut corners across product iterations. First time I bought into the Speak speakerphone line up, I got a pair of 510s and a pair of 710s. We were blown away by how good the 710s were, with the 510s being close behind that. The 710's voice pick-up was excellent and made remote work / conferencing a pleasure and eventually my team's preference. Outside work, they were super great music speakers. Super loud with amazing clarity. Then there was the link feature which allowed two 710s to wirelessly pair up and act as a stereo speaker system. That feature was so useful in large conference rooms and for blasting music in a small party. We found the 710s to be so good, that we promptly bought a pair of 750s the moment they came out, particularly because of the full duplex advertising. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the 750s. We were expecting voice pick-up to be better with full duplex but instead it was much worse because of overly aggressive auto-muting (noise cancellation?), and we needed to frequently repeat ourselves. The first parts of what we said were not heard or were choppy on the opposite end. We needed to speak louder than natural with the Speak 750s. Also, music volume is capped significantly as compared to the 710. They were just not as loud and bass heavy as the 710s. Funny thing is that I discovered that this was likely a firmware limitation. I had updated one of my 710s firmware and it became similar to the 750s in term of music loudness. Good thing I only updated one, as linking the 710 with updated firmware with the 710 with the old firmware allowed the crippled 710 to use and default down to the older audio profile on the un-updated one. This allowed the linked pair to perform "loudly" like before during parties, as long as they were linked together. I think the motivation of Jabra to cripple the volume on the newer firmware iterations was to stop the speakers from walking on (or off) the table when set to max volume. My 710s were notorious for traveling 10-20 inches over 2 hours of heavy bass music. Simple solution tho... don't max out the volume or just set it atop a piece of cloth to prevent walking while on max volume. Jabra didn't need to permanently cripple the volume in the newer firmware. Another firmware issue is when switching between the Echo cancelling speakerphone mode and Stereo speaker (basically activating/deactivating use of the microphone) - the newer firmware makes playback audio quality so much worse. I noticed this particularly when having the Speak connected to a PC and playing a video game with in-game audio conferencing (like Discord). Prior, I didn't even notice the old firmware 710s switch modes since the audio quality was good in either mode. With the 750s and the 710 with updated firmware, I noticed a drop in in-game audio quality. Could be described as "Telephone like". Their firmware updates made their products worse! I tried to contact Jabra to find a way to downgrade the firmware on the 710 back to its original, but to no good resolution from Jabra's tech support. They just said "not possible". It's a piece of software you upload to a device via USB; c'mon Jabra. Now, looking at the Speak 2 series - They dont have the link feature anymore. What? If anything, I would have wanted to see cross model linking or the capability to link more than 2 Speaks together. Apparently these new models no longer have the built in kick stand that the previous models had. I hope they've fired the sound engineer that created the poor firmware but rather I imagine the poor firmware is carried over into these new models too. Fabric top? F that cost cutting sh t, the old aluminum tops were super durable, beautiful, and did not detract on sound quality. If they really wanted better sound quality, fix the firmware! All these changes sound like aggressive cost cutting to me. Backwards. Their Marketing team was so proud of their USB-C / USB-A co-compatibility. I LOL'd over that, I could buy a USB-A to USB-C adaptor on eBay for USD 0.99 to "upgrade' my Speak 710 to do the same. Backwards and Lazy. If there's another feature I'd like to see, that would be direct integration to RTX voice noise cancelling and a Kensington lock hole for these hockey puck speakers. Only our 810 had the Kensington hole but it would be way more useful for the "easier to snatch" hockey puck models that we usually leave in conference rooms during lunch time.
