I have both the Poly 20 and the Jabra 710. I'm an audiophile and like the audio quality of the speaker for music listening on the Poly. No it isn't as loud, but it has WAY better bass response, and I actually enjoy listening to music on it! The noise cancellation is also much better, as is the mic quality with 3 mics. When you add in the charging and Teams features as well, I think it's a no brainer IMHO. The only time I'd want the Jabra is a long conference table with 2 Jabras.

Just a quick q- you mention full duplex on the poly- allowing more than one person to speak- is this in a two way conversation or do you mean two people in the same room? One of the biggest issues i have is when i'm speaking and someone else on the other end of the call speaks and we both miss what each other said. Loving the reviews, keep it up!

Hi Pierre, the Poly 40 will be a bigger speakerphone, but it will be very similar to the Sync 20. We haven't yet tested the 40! Stay tuned.

Thanks for the review! This is something I’m looking for. Before I want to buy Jabra 750 (for my office) and calisto 7200 (for home). After watched this, I hv ordered Poly 40+ (for office) and 20+ (for home). The mic quality seems much better than Jabra. Also, for me, I will not hearing music from this. Just an idea, could you make a review for mic test simulating meeting condition? I.e 4-6 peoples in same meeting room (with the physical distancing) which one better.

Thank you for video! Better bass is not what you want for speakerphone! Actually you want bass reduction so speech will became more clear and easy to understand. Poly sounds like you will not understand your colleagues if they have low deep voice and mediocre microphone.

We have a meeting room with a pretty big table where can be seated up to 15 people. We would to set up a speaker and microphone systemn there. Would you recoomend us more 2 times the Poly Sync 60 or 2 times the Jabra 710? Keeping in mind 10-15 people and a very deep table where the opposite person sits around 2 metres away from you. That's a tough one. We will have to test both to fully answer your question. The Poly Sync 60 is the bigger of the two, but the Jabra Speak 710 is an amazing speakerphone setup.

Although poly sync 20 is a teams version, how compatable is it with other UC platforms like Google Meet?

It works just like it would as a UC version. Works great on any platform like Zoom, Google Meet, etc if you download Plantronics Hub you can even adjust other software to be your main software so you can press answer and end with all supported software.

I currently use the bose 700 nc. But I am looking at poly sync as a speakerphone, for now. But my concern is that the volume might be low considering the background noise I have near my home office. I was exploring emeet luna and Harman kardon esquire mini 2 as other value options.

I can speak to Plantronics UC dongle being fully compatible with Webex, Slack, and Zoom as it have used it personally. My Plantronics 8200 headphones can control webex, and Zoom in app mute but will not disconnect from the call without clicking the disconnect button with your mouse, making the answer/hangup buttons useless in those apps .

You might want to try downloading the Jabra Direct App. Within it, you can adjust sidetone to fine tune how you hear yourself when talking. Otherwise, if you are referring to the sound quality of your voice, there's nothing that can be done about that except to find a different model, or brand.
