The performance will begin shortly. We are grateful you were able to join us today! At Children International, we aim to help the children and youth we support grow into capable, confident young adults who have the skills to secure steady employment and earn wages that end their family’s experience of poverty. Musical training is an engaging and educational way to learn responsibility, resilience, focus and teamwork, and helps shape the positive trajectory of children and youth who participate in our programming.

Happy Holidays and welcome to the premiere showing of an end-of-year student concert, Melodías que Transforman - A Journey of Growth Through Music, performed by youth from our agency in Colombia! We sincerely appreciate the Sally and Dick Roberts Coyote Foundation for funding our music program in Colombia. Music has the power to change lives, emotions, and realities. This is the idea behind the concert series "Melodías que Transforman." In many cases, music is the first hook that attracts young people to the support available through Children International. It then serves as a companion and guide in shaping children and youths’ experiences and strengthening their life skills. Each note performed in today’s concert tells a story, and each melody represents a step toward overcoming challenges. From early musical encounters in childhood to the development of young talents, sound art has positioned these young people to experience and explore new opportunities.
