Hmm.. the flood , Sodom and Gomorrah, God using the earth to swallow up the disobedient . God using Babylon to punish his people . God reserving the present world to be burned up with fire.. To say that God is not in disasters is to deny clear biblical evidence to the contrary.. In the book of revelation it is God who has put into the mind of the beast to burn the harlot woman who rides the beast to turn on her and burn her with fire.. It was God who allowed Satan to test job . Isaiah 45 : 7 Look it up , it and many other passages of scripture show that what you have said is not even biblical. Don't know where or who taught you that God is not in disasters or tragedies but it's not the Holy God of the bible.
