Thank you for sharing your experience. I was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer. I’m still praying and believing for healing and the miracle, but if the Lord decides I have to go through it, then chemotherapy is scheduled for February 21. All I know is that when I found out about the diagnosis, I heard in my spirit all is well. I know the Lord is good, I know He is a miracle working God, but I don’t need a miracle to believe in Him nor do I need the miracle to follow Him. Whatever my lot, He has taught me to say, it is well with my soul. No matter what I go through, the worst thing would be not having Him there with me. So as long as He is there, I will make it through.

I don't get tired of hearing Barry's testimony of God's goodness in bringing him through that awful disease! It's interesting that I hear a lot of parallels with Creflo Dollar who in the past two years went through bouts of COVID, then shingles, and then cancer. He talked about getting those bad reports on his tests too after enduring all of that and standing strong in faith, but digging in and declaring that he would continue to keep standing on God's promise of healing. He's coming out of that and getting healthy again, but he said too that after coming out of that fire he feels "born again, again." I understand this-perhaps slightly differently because my fight wasn't cancer, but dealing with several years of excruciating circumstances with a loved one's mental health, and we're not totally out of that fight, but sometimes in those seasons where the fight is just beyond your natural strength and wisdom, but you hang onto God through disappointments and fear and you draw that line in the sand that you're going to trust God and not give up no matter what hell comes (and I do mean we went through some hell on earth-as I think Barry and Creflo have and many others). Learning to become One with Him in a union and trust for everything and know He is the SOURCE and to know His faithfulness and goodness in demonstration when there seems to be no change or light at the end of a long, scary tunnel. He is with us and for us! In this time, I've learn what it means to truly abide in Him and depend on Him for everything. I hear that in Barry and Creflo lately in such a powerful way too. It really does feel like being born again, again because you come into this new place of connection and dependence on Him and find He is there for ALL things we need. You develop such a closeness. You don't have to go through trouble to learn that, but it is in the furnace that such refinement seems to happen...or if we give up on Him we just burn up. The situation is so huge that it can burn us up, but not with God. Hang on to Him! Even when things seem so bleak and unchanging, keep hanging onto Him and draw every need from Him. This is just how I live now and I aim at going deeper and deeper in that abiding with Him! Anyway, love Barry's story and I just praise and glorify God that He is so good to us in His provision for our healing!!

Wow! I've heard your testimony before, but not in this detail. THANK YOU! I am going through a cancer battle right now and it's comforting to hear that even a strong man of God, one who even taught/teaches healing, struggled with the things that I am struggling with. I'm so glad you put into perspective that even though our emotions may be on a pendulum, our spirits are steadfast. God gave me a dream that He would take me through a very severe storm before I even had symptoms, three weeks later the symptoms started, then the diagnosis. So, I've always known that cancer will not succeed against me, but oh the emotions! Whenever I got emotional I felt like I wasn't in faith, so it really ministers to me that you mention the emotional rollercoaster. Also, I cry at the drop of a hat now, too lol. I was one of those people who rarely cried, but now I cry several times a day, especially because of the gratefulness!!! I am sooo grateful for God and everything He has done for us. This testimony is so amazing! Barry it helps us in many situations, I am 59 and have been heart broken over losing my 25 year marriage. such a great message of going through, letting go and trusting the Lord. It can be hard to leave the train wreck behind you, the pain. I can hear in Barry's voice, he is so Greatful to be here! I feel that way, I am so grateful I am walking around, loving my grand kids, able to work. The tears come because of His goodness, He is always better than we thought. He never leaves, sometimes we have an experiential lesson from the word, it never leaves us like Job. Jesus is a teacher as well, He knows how to teach us something. God's word is our insurance policy.

Appreciate that Wommack recognized that sometimes it's harder for the caretaker-spouse than the sick spouse. I went thru hell taking care of my husband for almost a year. He had a contagious diagnosis (not c19) which limited my comfort level in asking for help (didn't want to put others at risk). God preserved my health, but it was one of the most stressful chapters of my life.

Barry your testimony has blessed me greatly. You kept your eyes on God and never gave up. I've been going through a hard time with my health especially in this past year. I was told 2 days ago that my iron levels are extremely low which explains why I've been struggling with fatigue for so long. I feel what Barry is saying. It’s the spirit and peace and the word of God that made me well and kept me going while in the ICU and going thru cancer. I know I won’t die bc I can see my spirit holding onto Gods truth about me ❤ in the spirit. This is I must live accordingly by the spirit which gives life to my mortal body, the spirit that gives life to Jesus also dwell in me to put to death the misdeeds on the body. Romans 8:5-8 English Standard Version 2016 (ESV) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
