⁠@@TheGirfGirfI matched with a girl on tinder and in one of her pics she had on a T-shirt that read “Sleep Token”. So I looked it up and landed on the album ‘Take Me Back To Eden’. That was a month ago, I’ve listened to that one album over and over ever since. It’s so good to me I haven’t had the balls to explore other albums of theirs for fear that this album just can’t be topped. It’s stupid, I know, but I’m a sucker fora beautiful death 🤷‍♂️

I've never seen someone react to this Sleep Token song, in particular, let alone for a FIRST reaction... I wonder why you chose this one, out of all of them? Thankfully ST only drops bangers lol. I would highly recommend Take Me Back to Eden, Ascensionism, Euclid, Apparition, The Summoning, Atlantic, and/or Rain. However, every song is incredible. I haven't heard a single ST song that I haven't enjoyed in some way. Their variance is incredible.

oh, I'm happy, finally Sleep Token Vessel's voice is very deep, you can feel the emotion in his voice, and that's one of the reasons why I really like his vocals. He has a very big range. He can hit the highest notes and go down to guttural screams (in just one song lol) I'm looking forward to “Take me back to Eden”, it's not just a song, it's a masterpiece. Also, I recommend listening to “Blood Sport (from the room below)”, it's a very beautiful emotional song

@thevocalyst - These sleep token albums are a whole journey. The closing song to the trilogy of albums, EUCLID, is extraordinary song writing perfection. The closure and healing all Sleep Token fans needed. It’s the realisation it’s all over. It’s okay to look back at the good times. But ultimately it’s okay to move on. It’s time to be somebody new. It’s so fucking beautiful. Loaded with callbacks from songs and moments, notably tied directly to the open song on the first album ‘the night does not belong to God’. One worth checking out for you particularly would be the live version of ‘Bloodsport’ from the room below.

There's so many details into their songs, for example: When you listen to Vore (one of their heaviest songs yet, or the heaviest) you can hear at the very beginning a swallow sound, which makes sense for the song. Here, that "crackling" noise is present in the "back" almost the entire song, those are thin layers that adds so much to each song.

I actually get excited when people that really “get” music discover sleep token. It’s one heck of a journey full of discovery, emotion, and reflection. I do recommend starting on their first album through the third chronologically for reasons.

Take Me Back to Eden is not "a lot to take in" in the sense that it is overwhelming or anything. Its just simply a beautiful song that is constructed in such a magical way that it is truly an unforgettable experience to listen to for the first time. I hope that you will react to it sooner than later. I've seen so many reactors say they will definitely listen to more or excited to hear more and then they don't release another ST reaction for months. I get that there are a ton of requests and songs out there to listen to, but I just can't understand how some people can hear ST and not want to immediately dive deep into the rabbit hole. ST reactions do numbers too. Worship.

Never heard of them before but I'm impressed I like their style love their sound, will search out more of them 👍. Surprised I haven't seen anything by Evanescence, she reminds me of this kinda not that they sound a lot alike more like they both kinda have the same mesmerizing effect on me so to say. Huh...I thought Sleep Token was just very heavy all the time. I guess because I saw "the Charismatic Voice" had Will Ramos over to listen to it. I do expect them to go heavy at times. My friend introduced me to Sleep Token last year with a song called The Summoning because it's basically ADHD for metal heads. I like their stuff. Unfortunately metal just isn't where my heart is these days so I haven't delved their back catalogue. This is also my first time for this song and I bloody like it! With that being said, these days my heart sits with American country music, so could you maybe react to something by Tyler Childers, maybe?

Dive in man. The Summoning is more of an outlier and not what the vast majority of Sleep Token songs sound like. Especially their older stuff. They are mostly very melodic and the lyrics will actually blow you away if you pay attention. Do yourself a favor and check out Take Me Back to Eden, or if you want some older stuff, Atlantic is a great song to start out with. Its the first song on their second album entitled "This Place Will Become Your Tomb". It sounds dark and heavy, but I assure you its not. The lyrics cover a wide variety of topics, some dark but the music on that album definitely leans more towards the side of ambient/melodic.

Bloodsport (From the Room Below), Jaws, Aqua Regia. These are some of my favorites. It's difficult to go wrong with this band. Vassel's voice has an almost metallic sound to me, Vassel II on drums is an absolute machine. Both of these are reinforced by Vassel III and IV on guitar and bass to round out this powerhouse of a band. ~Worship
