The moment I encountered Rockmina for the very first time was *Odyssey 2001* in my head! I imagined Rockmina linked by an umbilical cord to the splendid Ann Wilson! The beginning of a fairy tale came to my life! I felt his spirit, his Love for music! A stage beast with a disarming accent! It was a stunning transition from a great Canadian Artist to a great Romanian Artist.

This is how you do it! I have said it before, but I maintain that, in my opinion, this is the best cover of Barracuda. The original is unmatched, but this version does justice to the original and adds a few things. It does justice by sounding pretty much like a 70's hard rock song. Rockmina sounds almost like a young Ann Wilson. What is added is a heavier sound and Rockmina's stage presence, which makes the song more vibrant than the original. Within a few seconds of her singing she clearly shows how she owns the stage. I would also want to add that I really appreciate the way all of these videos are filmed. I rather have it this way than getting a video of a rock band in a recording studio (and it looks like you all have a great time when doing it this way). 👏👏👍👍🔥🔥🎙️🎸🥁♥️♥️

My all time favourite song. Rockmina's/Voodoo Child's version is good, almost as good as Giulia's but with this song every millimeter away from the original doesn't make it fresh and different, it only makes is worse... and Rockmina cut a few corners there. Very small difference tbh, I'm nitpicking on a solid cover I know. Still love Voodoo Child and still love Rockmina. Keep rockin!

I am sorry but I have to disagree with you regarding Giulia's version. It isn't closer to the original than this one is. Giulia is a good singer, but Romina's vocal tone sounds more like Ann Wilson's, whereas Giulia has more of a nasal voice.

Since 2019 Moriah Formica has been the new Ann Wilson. With her new band, Plush, just absolutely killing it. Moriah is a better singer (just barely) than Romina, but Plush's drummer (Faith) is far superior to Teodor (Andre, your drummers lack energy and skill). Andre, you have some talent in Voodoo Child, but you're embarrassing yourself doing Heart covers. Stick to AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue and other hard rock/metal groups.

I agree, Moriah is very close to sounding like Wilson in her prime. But have you heard of Rianna Rusu? She has covered two Heart songs on her channel and she also sounds a lot like Ann Wilson.

@@carlsandberg8247 Nothing against Rianna, she's young, talented and attractive, but..... I've been following Moriah for five years now. She was on the cusp of breaking out when the pandemic screwed everything up. And now, she has a great band and a label that backs her. I wish Moriah the best. As far as Rianna, she's European, so she has a different road to take.
