This band was so big in 70's and we loved it because this was 2 sister's rocking out! We got tickets to see them as soon as they came our way. I've seen them 4 times through the years and all have been excellent! I'd recommend "Magic man" "Straight on for you" "Even it up" bangers!!! 💥💯🤘

This is a 70's favorite of mine. Saw them many times in the 70's & 80's. My son took me to see them in 2019 for my birthday at The Hollywood Bowl in LA. They still rock after all these years. You need to see them perform Stairway to Heaven at the Kenndey Center Honors 2012 in front of Led Zeppelin honoring them. You will not be disappointed.

You should watch their tribute performance of Stairway To Heaven for Led Zeppelin they did at The Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. It is considered the best tribute ever performed.

They were part of high school bands that play in the "Greater Seattle" area in the middle 1960s. 1967. 68. 69. Seattle owns "HEART". Along with many other great bands.

1960s???? Seattle????? Hilarious!!!! Where do you get the idea that this band was in Seattle when they were formed and first played and recorded? They never played high schools in Seattle. They were formed in Vancouver BC in the early 1970s. They lied and claimed they were Canadians because Mike Fisher moved to Canada to avoid the draft. Ann loved Mike and moved up there too. Mike's brother Roger was the lead guitarist and Nancy joined the band later and he and Nancy became lovers. They played in high schools in the greater Vancouver, BC area while they were starting out and recorded their first songs in Vancouver. By the time they were going down to Seattle from Canada they were already famous and playing to much bigger audiences than high schools.

Yep...sad that Nancy Wilson tried to take credit for the great Roger Fisher riff at the beginning. The sisters first lied about being Canadian and then have spent their entire lives re-writing history to wipe out their years in Canada and the fact that were part of a great band "Heart" . The band was not just them and some back-ups players like they try and pretend it was.

"Love Alive" is one of my favs by them that no one has reacted to. It's like everyone forgot about that song. "Dog & Butterfly" is a great ballad by them that you can hear both sisters sing in that one. Nancy has a great voice too. Everyone else will tell you about "Crazy on You" & "Magic Man".

Not many mention that Heart members before the Wilson Sisters joined, followed a family member to Canada who was dodging the Vietnam War. The Sisters joined the band in Canada where they recorded their first album and got radio play and their first big concert in Montreal where the audience new all the words to their songs. Later, Heart would build their own studio in Seattle and supported the Grunge Movement and Garage bands like Nirvana.

Really scummy stuff, and from their pwn management. For publicity. The energy from that song is all about how the music industry is full of predatory “barracudas” just looking for the next meal, and not caring who bleeds for it. Also, a classic banger.
