A little off topic. Funny enough, I think Robert Plant could compete with even female singers lmao. He just reaches pitches and tones plus holds keys that I can only hear a woman nailing I mean Ann Wilson did just that imo with Heart's cover of Stariway.

They came to Cincinnati once, and their plane had a problem and needed some hydraulic fluid. I happened to be at an aviation supply company and I had bought the last 5 gallons of Skydrol hydraulic fluid in stock. A guy came in right as I was leaving and said that he needed some for Heart's plane, and they told him that I had just bought the last of it. I told him that I would sell it to him for cost, if he would give me two backstage passes for the show that night. He gladly agreed, and I got to go backstage before the show. Ann and Nancy Wilson were extremely gracious (and so was the rest of the band), and my friend and I got to see a great concert from the side of the stage, and got to have a drink with the band. It was a good time.

I'm fairly sure they mentioned Aladdin...I'm not even sure they realize what they were saying but the singer on Aladdin is Lea Salonga who is perhaps one of the most accomplished singers in the world. She was the first Asian woman to win a Tony. She's not only sung as Jasmine (where the song got a golden globe and an Oscar) and Mulan, she's sung the leading roles in international productions such as Miss Saigon, Les Mis, and numerous others. Ann Wilson has a great voice but I highly doubt she'd be offended by being compared to one of the most accomplished singers in the last 40 years. Ann has a lot of voice control and talent and that's coming through with piercing clarity. They didn't mean it as an insult and it clearly wasn't.

They've never heard that Ann Wilson has been called "The most powerful voice in rock". As entertaining as Lost in Vegas is to watch, they're not professionals. That's the problem with ALL social media - every dimwhistle that has no understanding of 'context' gets a voice, and half of the rest of the dimwhistles get offended or bi*ch said comment *im not referring to LIV as DC dimwhistles, but instead what the comments look like

So, this is about their record company trying to promote them in a sexual way. (wanting Ann and Nancy, scantily clad, doing sexy poses together-let's don't forget, they are sisters) This song was the response to their record company. BadAss. By the way, I saw them, something like, 3 years ago. They still sounded like they were in their prime. Can't say enough about ♥.

And also, if you guys come back to more heart later and do any of their 80s era stuff, it's worth noting that the label by then had started trying to push Ann out of the spotlight because she'd gained some weight and Nancy was blonde and skinny. Nancy splits vocal duty on their 80s hits and in the music videos, they focus a lot on Nancy's body and put Ann in a lot of shadows.
