Mini Heart Shaped Cookies Painted with Simple and Easy "Heart Flowers", Perfect for Valentine's Day! These little bite-sized cookies make the perfect gift to ALL those special Someones in your life, including yourself, especially since YOU painted them! They measure 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches, definitely bite-sized, which means no crumbs, right?? For this video, I used a Flat brush (at first, it was too big so I went down a size) to do the hearts in different colours. Then I switched to my Script Liner to do the stems and grass. So simple and easy, you can do it too!! For cookies of this size and for this type of basic design I'm accustomed to having 5 or 6 on my turntable at once, but just do what's comfortable for YOU, especially if the brush stroke is new. There is no right or wrong way, just HAVE FUN and figure out what works best for you and your brushes!!

What do mix with the food color to paint? Water or alcohol?

Hi Coni! I prefer Vodka (40% alcohol) due to the quick evaporation. I've used water in the past but it takes a long time to dry. Thanks for watching! Love Elaine
