OH MY GOD I was just starting to learn this song and when you announced a new video I was PRAYING it was Heart Full of Holes.

many good guitarists would know how to do what you do, but there is one huge difference between you and many other guitarists: you feel the presence of Knopfler, this makes your performances and learning lessons something that I have begun to look forward to. Thank you, Pavel!

Thank you so much. Only you make so many dedicated Knopfler videos. Instantly subbed.

I pick a rendition of this song in C (like all the pros...) And have been looking forward to your breakdown. Fantastic video, as always!

This is a a great gift, thank you Pavel. Heart full of holes is a wonderful song probably one of best in the MK's solo career. Mark Knopfler is an incomparable songwriter and unconventional storyteller. Great and passionate lesson Pavel.

I must say that you did a wonderful job here and in "Lions". I recorded an album of Dire Sraits/MK songs, and I'm learning new things, so... Keep up with it. With MK, as you say, it's a kind of grammar, the songs interconnect. Great job.

Love it. I’ve always thought that tururururoooo part’s got so much of a Sufjan Stevens’ vibe :))

Awesome pick! I learned this from other videos, but I never liked how this sounded in Open G on one guitar. Im excited to learn this in standard tuning.. and your transcription, as always, sounds incredible for a one man show!

Hol moly, Pavel! I didn't expect this :) What a great song, the melody is so deceivingly positive but as often with Mark, the lyrics tell a different story. For me this song really clicked after I read Remarque and his stories about refugees in WW2.

Two or three short lines from you please why you would describe this song as one of his best? Really interested in your opinion. Greetings from an old friend.

In short? I think it's, as always, a well written, beautiful song with some classic MK elements, it has a National guitar, folk section. The lyrics make me cry and it's a waltz as well... It's a song that I can listen to on repeat, so it qualifies as one of the best songs period, not just Mark's. A proper song!
