I’m a transplant pharmacist and I’m so impressed with the way you explain things. Accurate but still easily understood by non medical people. Best wishes on his continued recovery.

My husband received a kidney transplant last year two days before the kids were out for Christmas break. This was something our family prayed about and our prayers were answered it has been a blessing. My husband was able to go from seeing the transplant doctor every other week to just once every other month now for labs. My husband still takes his meds at 9am and 9 pm like clock work. May God continue to bless you and your family.

As someone who was diagnosed with a "reasons unknown" heart rate condition, I can empathize with how frustrating that can be. I hope that they find some concrete answers and are able to control it better. I never thought I would ever need a beta blocker, but without it I would have tachycardia all the time too.

Wowzers! 5 weeks already. I’m sure you’re really sick of me commenting this but I was blown away it’s already been 7+ months since this all started, and now it’s been 5 weeks since transplant. It’s so good to see him up and about ♥️

I would love to see a night time routine video. We are in the process of trying to get a diagnosis for my 3 year old and I feel like our night time routine is so different from my friends with NT kids. I would love to see how your kiddos wind down and maybe gets some tips or just feel seen maybe? IDK

Hey just a tip for Lonnie Jr. I know y'all probably already know this, but it's important to try and not let the dog or other animals lick him, especially his face or any cuts on his body. This can increase a risk for infection. Just a random reminder I thought of while watching the videos. I am a pediatric home health nurse and work with vulnerable and medically fragile children in their homes. Here's to hoping and praying that his new lungs make a full recovery and that he does not have a flare up of the autoimmune disease ever again.

If Lonnie maxes out on Zofran (Ondansetron), it’s ok to top it up with an over the counter medication that’s mostly cyclazine. Definitely ask his doctors first because it might have a negative reaction with his other medications. I’ve never had a transplant so I can’t say it’s for sure safe. Edit: “Hi” Lex, “Hi” Nelly ❤

Well that's where it gets tricky is that yes he's considered a "child" but in 5 months he will be an adult technically. I am hoping we can avoid the ablation.

I just read the American healthcare system OMG 😲 it's terrible 😭 .I wish America followed the Australian or even England's healthcare systems. Mainly with discounting a lot of the expensive medications. So, everyone has a chance of affordable treatments.
