I have never heard this before...I don't know how I missed it. My favorite Elton John song taken by the immensely talented Wilson sisters and they make it their own. I love everything about this cover...Nancy's beautiful picking on the 12 string her soulful lead vocal and that soaring harmony provided by Ann. This is what makes a great cover...adapting a song to your own style...respecting the original but not copying it.

Nancy must be a Bernie Taupin fan, like many of us. Bernie wrote "These Dreams" as well, which was a huge Heart hit and Nancy did the vocals. The lyrics are beautiful in both of those songs, and these 2 girls can sing them better than most. Close to my favourite Elton song too, but I'm a fan of a lot of his work. Particularly the earlier music.

One of Elton John’s gems, not heard that much on the radio. I always thought he sang it perfectly, but this version just blows me away! Can’t believe the amazing vocals and guitar playing by Nancy Wilson! It almost feels like there is a band in the shadows but it looks like it’s all her playing and singing, while Ann Wilson is backing her. Just simply too beautiful! And Nancy looking gorgeous too!
