PainterlyPumpkins We will likely do MP JK next year (2020-2021). My daughter has that odd November birthday, so technically she still has 2 more years before kinder. This program is cheaper, especially if you buy it used.

Thank you for this review and look through! I can’t make up my mind between Heart of Dakota or Five in a Row! Any advice? I saw you did a review and look through for one of the Five in a Row Mini Units and it looks great!

Erica Vaughn Oh, well, hmmm...that’s tough. I think HOD is more open and go. I mean, FIAR is too but you do have to figure out how you’re going to schedule things and you don’t have to think about that at all with HOD.

You could always do HOD and throw in a mini unit every month for fun!

Educational Roots Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! I am probably maki g this harder than I need to! It is just so hard to decide. I love both curriculums. FIAR may be easier to combine? What are your thoughts on maybe doing Heart of Dakota and then FIAR as a Morning Time Basket thing to bring everyone together and be able to also use FIAR ( the curriculum and mini units ). That may be to much though!? Or just pick one week a month and break from HOD and do a week of FIAR. I need to pray about this! 🙏🏻 ❤️ Thank you again for taking the time to get back to me!

Erica Vaughn How old are your kids? What I would likely do is do HOD and then do one mini unit a month as part of morning basket. There’s enough in the mini units if you just choose 1 thing to do each day, plus if you get some of the go along books.

Educational Roots that is a great idea too! We have a 5 year old ( 6 in September ) and a 31/2 year old 4 in December ( and a 19 month old 😊 ) If we do HOD I would love to combine them, but not sure that is feasible. Again, thank you so much for all your advice!!!

Mike Barfield No. You will want glue, construction paper, and scissors on hand.

Yes, but I would get it if you can. It is used frequently.

@@EducationalRoots we just don’t use any instrumental music in worship. I might be able to find acapella songs to reinforce the concepts or Bible stories
