Oh, for half of Finn's energy! Don't worry so much about "waffling", it comes from your enthusiasm and it's infectious. I gabble a lot when I'm in the hills, which is a bit embarrassing when you're on your own ;) Good walk that, enjoyed your footage.

Lovely views. The drone shots at the beginning with you and the doggie as tiny figures - I felt like it was a Lake District version of "Where's Wally?" LOL

Glenn, no words can describe those views. You're right when you say the mountains are such a stunning environment when it's cold, bleak and slightly intimidating and most importantly you don't see a single person. Take care, Simon, Somerset.

Need to get back and get up the tops. I stayed at the 3 shires a couple of months back. Really nice. I’ll definitely stay there again too. The shot at 35:21 is Awesome 👏. I love your vlogs. Beautiful, I climbed up here for the first (and last) time as a 10 year old on a school outdoor activity week. We were staying at Hinning House. This brought back a lot of memories, the place had a big impact on me. 27 years later I’ve hill walked, rock climbed, fell runned, mountain biked all over the Lake District, Scotland and the Alps. This is the place where it all started for me. Time to re climb Harterfell may be. Or leave it another 3 years and go for it on the 30th anniversary of my first assent and when the madness all started 😁🥲.

I've noticed quite an important lakes mountain missing off your channel is Blencathra (or saddleback if you prefer the romantic name) The first mountain most of us see on the way in from the south. Not so much sharp edge, as I think that gets over hyped but the walk up via scales fell would be good to see or even up sharp edge and down scales as nobody ever mentioned scales and ends up gli g the long route to blease and back round.

Went up harter fell a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for your balcony. Was so exited when I found it…. Only to find a human turd in it. I was gutted. Don’t wanna sound sexist but it was definitely a boys !!! So that’s 50% of the suspects ruled out. Don’t know if you have any enemies. Or rubbed another KZbin competitor up the wrong way ?? But it wasn’t me I swear. Luckily there was some erosion there, so give it another month and it will be gone completely !!
