I’ve watched a lot of drum video since my kid started last year. But this, this is just smooth.

Great drumming my friend and I really like the way you play the hi hat ambidextrously! Very impressed! :)

TOM KLOEHR DRUM CHANNEL Thanks Tom. It took awhile to get my head around it but it now opens up a lot more flexibility for the right hand accents and fills!

Mikikk001 Thanks Mikikk! We should collab on a Huey tune. Looks like you are a fan as well. How about Thin Line or New Drug?
@LoopConnection7 жыл бұрын
I'm a huge, huge fan of Huey Lewis. I like them both, Walking on a thin line is fine by me, but i need time to learn the solo. Also, I don't even know how a collab works, we do a video and we upload it on both channel? Do you like Walking With The Kid from Small World? It's on my songlists to cover.

Mikikk001 depends on how many people are in but if no one else is up for it you can send me your track(s) and I can mix it and edit video as well. I'm not familiar with that song but I can learn easy enough

Ehy man. Sorry if I reply to you only now. What about "Back In Time" form Back to the Future. We could do the entire full score, I play bass, guitars and vocals, i know a guy who can do the keyboard part and i also know a trumpet/trombone player who can do the Tower Of Power Section? Let me know. Cheers, Michele

Mikikk001 That sounds great! I'm not a good sound engineer but would be happy to do the video edit. I can send you a stereo track MP3 if that works. Can you mix the sound?

mfournier01 I love it! You are so excellent and on point with your covers! I'm actually a beginner drummer. I've been drumming for about 8 months or so. I love it so much! One of these days might get around to putting a video up on KZbin or something. 😁Keep rocking 🤘

Hey Man, it's been a while since we chatted a few months ago. What about that collaboration cover? What about Jacob's Ladder or Hip to be square?

What a great tune. The kit you put together for this sounds fantastic... really fits the Huey Lewis vibe. I see you're creeping up on 1,000 subs... anything planned for it?

Beats By Jay I realized that just the other day. I 'm going to have to think of something interesting to celebrate! I'm open to ideas?

I simply love your videos, my friend. Clean sound, spot on drumming and nice effects. Great one! (By the way: have you decided which VST? ;-)
@mfournier017 жыл бұрын
Mike Luke Thanks so much Mike. I am abut of a perfectionist which sometimes bugs the crap out of me lol. I still haven't decided. I'm on a limited budget and still need to find a user friendly DAW! I currently record stereo outs from my TD-20X straight into a portable DAT recorder. I then mix it with the music through my video software so there's no after effects or EQ. Everything is as it was recorded lol

Really enjoy your vids. Got a quick question. What are your preferred sticks,and size. Keepem coming.
@mfournier017 жыл бұрын
+RonPirate thanks Ron! I use many different sticks depending on the style of music I am playing. For fast or dynamic songs I prefer Vic firth jojo mayer model. I also use a variety of 5b wood tips and for heavy tunes I use Vater barrel wood tips. I think they are 2B. Monsters!

Great cover.. do you still have that kit or have you gone newer?
@mfournier013 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have upgraded to a TD-30 as I needed a USB output to integrate with my laptop to be able to use sampling software. The best part is I can use all of my TD-20 kits on the 30 as well. Pretty cool!

Nice. Working on that open hand?
@mfournier017 жыл бұрын
Indeed I have sir! It's almost feeling natural and I find it easier to move around the rest of the kit with my right hand now. Now to only get it down to ghost notes...
