This is the first cover I have seen where the drummer is actually relaxed and feeling the song rather than all tense and thinking about or remembering how to play it. You can’t really play this tune if you are thinking about how while you’re playing. It sounds stiff and duder here is just at ease and letting the flow happen.

Well mate i gonna some words in spañol la parte de la percusión sola es bien DIFICIL DE TOCAR pero no imposible porque va acompañada de congas y timbales y los tacos de los toms sirven como otro instrumento mas ...buen drum cover ! If u can re-do it but listening the solo part of percussion , and the rest of the song 👍 E.

After watching the Bon Jovi documentary on Hulu and then completing another Bon Jovi cover today, I was curious to see what covers you might have done on your channel from Bon Jovi. And holy cow, you covered one of my favorite songs from Jon! I loved both the Young Guns movies and this song brings me right back. You played this flawlessly and I love all the little percussion pieces you did as well. That had to take some time to coordinate the playing of that. I have to resort to watching your old videos now. LMFAO.

I watched it too. Made me feel old looking at those guys creeping into their 60’s! I remember my first concert was Ratt with Bon Jovi opening , and I walked into the back of the arena and saw Jon running around the stage wrapped in the American flag and thought “this is fucking cool” and those guys are going to be big soon! The next album they released was Slippery when Wet and you know the story from there…I loved Young Guns and Blaze was a perfect tribute to the movie. Wanted DOA is also a similar vibe and another I covered. I always like the challenge of playing the percussion parts over the beat. Must be partly because I grew up listening to old Santana and timbales and conga drums galore! Cheers my friend

Another banger! I haven’t seen too 4:29 many drummers on KZbin that can play on the backbeat like you do. Most drummers play too much on top of the beat and fail to create the pocket and groove to really lock in with the other instruments. Your comprehension and execution of accents and dynamics is also top notch. Fantastic as usual!

I found a 10” single head tom then tuned it up, added some reverb and mid-high eq. It’s not exact but close. A timbale rim shot sound can also work. Good luck!

Thanks for checking it out! The Roland Kits are the most durable in the business but not always the best sounding out of the box. Take your time to learn the module and use all of the settings to “tune” your sound and you can get pretty close to many different album sounds. All of the kits I use are my custom creations. It takes some time but when you get it right it’s very rewarding! Good luck!
