From The Midnight Special TV program in 1976, the classic lineup of Heart performs Silver Wheels/Dreamboat Annie/Crazy on You. Enjoy:)

There will never be another Ann Wilson...brings a tear to my eye..so thankful I was traveling through this life the same time as Ann or I would have missed her amazing talent and beauty!!!!

Nancy doesn't get nearly the accolades she deserves as a phenomenal guitarist.

Absolutely stunning performance! No gimmicks, no pitch correction, no lip synching, great costumes....

I saw these ladies in concert when i was a freshman in high school in 1979 i believe. Saw them again about a year ago on pbs and they have done nothing but increase thier musical abilities over the years. AWSOME!! And nobody can cover LedZeplin as they do!!

Extremely lovely and talented women. They were then and still are now. I always empathized with Ann and her lifelong fight with weight as I have the exact same problem. It doesn't have anything to do with gender. She practically had to starve herself to look this way. What a voice, though, and what a beautiful woman! Nancy is equally as lovely and a wonderful guitarist. Until looking closer at these videos, I never realized she finger-picked. "The Midnight Special" was also a GREAT show!

The brand is Ovation, and it's likely the Adamas model. It's an acoustic guitar that can be plugged in.

It is always so refreshing to hear Ann belt out a song better LIVE than on the studio recording. I fell hard for these sisters when I saw the cover of Dreamboat Annie's LP jacket!

Man they nailed that one. At the end of Crazy on you Ann puts up her hands like a gymnast that completed the world's first triple back flip-flop and landed flat on her feet...which is what she and the band did here. Incredibly awesome performance.

Saw them a few years ago in Va. Beach. Sat on front row right in front of Nancy. She is indeed an amazing guitar player and was still quite attractive. Ann is really huge but her voice was probably better and stronger than in the '70s. They have always put on a great show. (Saw them in '82 also.)

Well yeah it looks like we missed out on all the great rock-N-Roll and instead got all that pop B.S sung in our ears. I still don't know why I bought a M.J tape in I was in the second grade back in the late 80's.

Careful, you will probably have to explain what a "45" is to most of this crowd. Vinyl records were extinct before a most of them were even born. I still have about 450 of them and still play them, but since they are irreplaceable in the mint condition all of mine are, and cartridges are so hard to come by I don't play them very often any more.

awesome and underrated band, nancy has gotten a little more beautiful every year from day 1, she is a real knockout now - strange, since in the day both ann and roger were prettier than nancy
@tabistevens15 жыл бұрын
I don't think they did--it had to do with an infamous ad that Mushroom Records ran of the girls implying something illicit between them. This led to Heart leaving the Mushroom label.

Pretty depressing isn't it? All the best artists are gone or are on very limited touring/recording schedules. At least we have our records, about 450 for me +/- but it is harder and harder to find good cartridges any more. Even the mediocre quality ones are outrageously expensive.
