Yea right, she didn’t put anyones life at risk. It was later at night with very few on the road. She was hardly speeding but she slowed down and had her hazards on looking for a safe place to pull over just like they told us to do. It’s a very big thing because in that area where it happened the news did a story on the police & pulling over and the police were on the news telling people to put hazards on, slow down, move over, and pull over in a safe place. That officer didn’t even wait a full minute before he did the pit maneuver. That officer was the one who put everyone else’s life at risk.

The Arkansas State Patrol seems to have forgotten to train their Troopers that they *they told the public to do exactly what this woman did.* The Trooper violated Arkansas State Patrol PITT maneuver policy by performing the maneuver in an area with no adequate shoulder and surrounded by concrete barriers - which is why the woman said it was an unsafe place to stop. She settled with them out of court. “Approximately two weeks after the use of force incident, an internal complaint was filed by department supervisors. The subsequent mandatory internal review of the incident led by Highway Patrol Division commanders found that Corporal Dunn failed to comply with the state police Use of Force policy in executing the PIT maneuver,” ASP said. “The internal review process resulted in disciplinary action taken against Corporal Dunn, who prior to the incident, had maintained an exemplary record of service.”

*The real story* is that the Arkansas State Patrol _published a guidebook_ that told drivers that if they feel unsafe, to signal their intent to pull over by flashing their hazard lights (which she did) and proceed to a well-lit area. The Arkansas State Patrol seems to have forgotten to train their Troopers that they *they told the public to do exactly what this woman did.* The Trooper violated Arkansas State Patrol PITT maneuver policy by performing the maneuver in an area with no adequate shoulder and surrounded by concrete barriers - which is why the woman said it was an unsafe place to stop. She settled with them out of court. “Approximately two weeks after the use of force incident, an internal complaint was filed by department supervisors. The subsequent mandatory internal review of the incident led by Highway Patrol Division commanders found that Corporal Dunn failed to comply with the state police Use of Force policy in executing the PIT maneuver,” ASP said. “The internal review process resulted in disciplinary action taken against Corporal Dunn, who prior to the incident, had maintained an exemplary record of service.”

The lady telling the story about the 5 yr old driving was praising him for knowing to pull over for the police. But at the same time the kid is on his way to California to buy a Lamborghini with whole $3 in his pocket, because his mom won’t buy him one. Yeah the kid is a real genius. SMH

Crazy that people in police chases still try to pull the "you put my life in danger" victim card. You literally put everyone on the street in danger when you ran from the police. You did this to yourself. Also rarely do normal people flee. People generally flee because they know they'll be in more trouble than a simple speeding or running a red light. Most of the time drugs, previous warrants, etc is the cause.
