Can we appreciate that this guy still answers comments! Should you get a pet if your a heart surgeon. It also sounds like they have time for nothing... is that true.
@DrAdnan
@DrAdnan 4 жыл бұрын
Haha, I suppose that’s one of the benefits of me having a small KZbin channel (and not having a life lol). You do have time for things outside of medicine, but it’s a lot harder especially if you’re a surgeon. Depending on if you have someone at home to take care of the pet I would probably get something that’s low maintenance if you really wanted a pet.

Howzit Adnan I am new here and would like to ask questions 1. Do cardiac surgeon get paid during residency program or medical school 2.can relationships work during medical school 3. During your cardiac surgeon. How much time are you given to rest in more details like how many hours of rest in a day from the 12 week If you have time please answer thanks
@DrAdnan
@DrAdnan 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, yeah residency pays, but not very well, especially per hour you work. 2. Yes but you’ll have to sacrifice and it won’t be ideal 3. It depends on the week, location, service, etc

Thank you for answer! I am wondering like today why cardiac surgeons work so hard if they have less procedures than before. Before they did much more CABG or AVR but today we have well developed stents and amazing thing is now happaning that TAVR is first line choce for aorric valve repair, not anymore SAVR...

Np, and I think part of it may be due to the state of America. Metabolic syndrome and heart issues are sooo prevalent, so you always have a lot of work.

bro am indian...is there any chance for me to get neurosurgery in united states...or what is the procedure for that
@DrAdnan
@DrAdnan 5 жыл бұрын
It’s probably even more difficult, but you can either try to do med school in the us/Canada which may be slightly easier (but still difficult), or become a neurosurgeon over there and try to apply (which would be very difficult). I’ve never heard of someone do that, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be done. Just weigh the costs/benefits. You’ll have to get upper end or higher in many categories like board scores to even have a chance. Maybe email some residency programs and ask them about your situation.
