Great video! I am interested for Cardiac Surgery or Cardiology with Interventional procedures. I dont know what is smart choice fot me. I like surgery but wondering about the future of Cardiac Surgery while new Interventional technologies overtake most procedures from Cardiac Surgery....

R B Thank you! I interviewed a cardiac surgeon on this channel and asked him that question. If I remember correctly he said there are procedures being done by cards now, but there’ll still be a place for cardiac surgery. I also interviewed a cardiologist if you’d like to compare their views. I think shadowing both specialties would be helpful, but I think the deciding factor will be how much you like operating vs medicine, how competitive you are as an applicant, how much of a lifestyle you’d like, etc.
