This song is a gem. 1) One of layaraja's best composition. Melody, tune, chorus, instruments.. everything is perfect. 2) Acharya Atreya, the lyricist, is called "Manasu kavi" for a reason. The words used are simple and yet powerful to convey the mood and meaning 3) SPB sung this beautifully. In this video, Sri Krishna sung with real feeling and he did awesome justice. I can guess that some participants know his past and hence cried. So hats off for bringing the pain in his heart to his voice.
