You are a fighter! I’m rooting and praying for your continued healing. Therapy will help, maybe even group therapy with other transplant recipients will help. People who understand what you’re going through. This world needs you in it. That is why you kept getting matched and have had a successful surgery.

Aw Chevonne I’m sorry to hear this rough time. You truly are a strong woman. Your kids see that and know that. I didn’t realize you had been battling heart failure and heart disease for SO long! Trust in GOD. I know it’s rough…I have my own medical issues but not quite like yours. GOD is going to protect you and pull you through this. Through all of it….you’re still in good strong spirits. I’m glad you’re seeking your help, that will help. Read your Bible daily and trust in GOD. I’m thankful you have good insurance and you can get the anti rejection meds, my Dad had a kidney transplant many years ago and it lasted him the whole rest of his life with no problems. He passed from other issues but his transplant was just fine. Remember to be kind to your body and soul. GOD bless you darling. 🩷🎀💗🌹.

Thank you for sharing your story. You are such an inspiration. Medical trauma is very real, as is the PTSD. You have the best attitude about taking it one day, sometimes one moment at a time. Please keep up with your emotional therapy even though sometimes it’s difficult. All of your thoughts and feelings are valid. You’re making fantastic progress, and I pray that you’ll continue on your journey with only positive outcomes. 🙏💕

Well, well, well Miss Lady…. I had no idea that I would be spending this Saturday afternoon just crying my eyes out. I don’t think I missed anything, so obviously this was a shock to hear that a donor came through. I just wanna say, we just love you Chevonne and the zeal you have for life and the love that you show for your family. You are one strong lady and I just want to thank you for sharing this journey with us. I have mixed emotions on a lot, but who asked me?? So I will just leave that there, but all that you’re going through is so hard to hear, but so very understandable. I’m not just saying this, but the world is going through a lot and I am just praying for you and your family to hold tight. I am praying that this fear and anxiety leaves you and the Lord gives you that peace that truly only He can provide. I’m praying for your complete healing, both physically and mentally. You are a warrior! The kids looked great…Loni’s dress was beautiful! If we can do anything, please let us know. Do you have a P.O. Box?? Please take care of yourself sweetie. Much love.❤❤❤❤

Hi Chevonne, I'm so happy to see you again. I have been following your story for years, and the fact that you keep pushing is such a testament . We all have low moments, but they are just moments. God has kept you and your family so long. So keep claiming Him over your life and health. Concerning that fear/trauma you had in the hospital, I had a similar experience too. Dont want to be cliché, but I was afriad the fear almost paralysed me. It was literally me holding on to God and fighting back that fear. The devil can't take your blessing so he will try and trick you into giving it to him in these low moments with fear, its hard to explain unless you go through it. Sometimes it can even feel isolating even though your surrounded by many. Have to cling on to Jesus. Here are some verse to claim if you ever feel down. Galatians 6:9: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up". Psalm 37:24: "Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with His hand". Isaiah 40:29-31: "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak". James 1:12: "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him". 1 Corinthians 13:7: "Love never gives up on people". Psalm 9:9-10: "The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you". Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble". Psalm 55:22: "Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved". Forgive me for the long message or if it sounds "churchy". Just wanted to share this and let you know that many others keep you in their prayers and thinking of you. It helped me so much. God bless you and your beautiful family always.

I understand everything you’re saying. I’ve been struggling with chronic illness for almost a decade now. I have heart disease and lately it’s been getting worse. I also have fibromyalgia along with severe spine issues. And a host of other things. All getting worse. I have young grandbabies that I want to be there for, but I’m so physically weak getting out of bed is a major accomplishment. And it absolutely does mess with your mental health. I will never be able to do the things I once loved so much. And it is very scary thinking about the future. There are a lot of us that know exactly where you are coming from. ❤😢

I am so super proud of you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽you did not do 20 years to just do 20 years!!! To be so self aware as you are is a gift not everyone listen to their bodies let alone their mental. My son was so depressed on 8/19/24 he took my car and ran it into a tree because of all the intrusive thoughts he was having and it was easier for him to try to commit suicide than ask his own mother, father, sisters or brother for help so I completely understand and I’m so happy you have the love and support you have, I didn’t share this for sympathy I shared this because I understand the mental health part of your beautiful journey!!! Prayed for you for your continued healing in Jesus name. God will never leave in this journey you are on. My favourite verses to get me thru my hardest days physically and mentally when anxiety about my chronic brain disease arise are these. Psalms the whole chapters. Also these Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 And the Lord he is the one who goes before you he will be with you he will not leave you nor forsake you do not fear nor be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8 Six months from now like you said you will look back from how far you’ve came in amazement on how much you’ve healed and is thriving. I’m right with you ❤

So sorry to know what you are going through and will endeavor to put you in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏾🙏🏾. Take it easy, and try not to worry too much. Do something to take your mind off things. Not easy I know, but try. Ask of God and believe for what you ask. I have living a sickly life all my life and besides that I’m affected mentally. Doting my years of illness, I asked God to let me live for my children to be the one who cares for them. The biggest difference is Christ in me and the hope I have in Him. So take heart and try not to sigh too much and if you do open your mouth so your breath comes out freely without stress on the heart. ❤
