So many applaud Mariah's version...Sure can hit the notes but so bland, going through the "motion" with no "emotion". Ann's version still brings me to tears. Mariah's? Brings up a less favorable bodily function. 🤮

First time heard it and loved it, was the original Harry's versión, don't remember when exactly but, for sure was close to its release.but I've been in love with Ann and Heart since Little Queen (their second LP) then Magazine came out and there it was,(without you) and of course I had to say even better than the original... sorry Harry Nilsson, I know you understand is Ann Wilson.!

The first time I heard this song was this version, I later found out that late great Harry Nilson wrote it and sang, this began my of truly great artist of our time and no longer just crap that thought was trendy

This craps all over Mariah's plastic version. I know Badfinger wrote this, but this is still Harry's song. His back story just fits the song so perfectly. And he changed it from a country-style clipped vocal to the drama-filled tearjerker it became.
